Lu and Nas, 2 of my FAVORITE rappers goin on. I been waitin for this day, and im still waitin. I like that Lu got his chance to spit with his favorite rapper, that inspired him a lot. Shit, its gonna be raw

:D. & I agree Lupe & Nas NEED to do a record together & they are my 2 favorite rappers too, then B.o.B. The interview was very good, but at some parts the background music of "The Show Goes On" was too loud to hear the audio from him talking in the interview.
@PhrayzerMusic Ikr. I was like so flabbercasted by that. Telling a story is lyrical. "Kick Push" was lyrical. That's the original reason that made me like him was 1st hearing "Kick Push." I mean lyrics is simple words to a song. Whether you're telling a story through your lyrics/rapping, or using intricate word play, nonetheless it's lyrical, both in their own respects.
They only complain about him been lyrical cause they're less intelligent to understand what he says. Being lyrical is what makes you a real hip hop artist...

I just recently read something where lupe said he can knock out 99% of the rappers in the game today. Its nice to hear lupe being modest like here, but him bragging is just a little better haha

@mcbobo0172 True, but I personally don't know who Damian Marley is like that to say whether I would like him to do a song with Lupe.
@LifeisMusic07 Damian Nas and Lupe could (if its done right) make a really damn good song. Damian can make a song more fun and unique to listen too. listen to Liquor Store Blues with Bruno Mars and Damian.. its one of my favorite songs.. and Lu+Nas can make it a very lyrical hip-hop song.
its funny to me how Lu is sooo lyrical that he doesnt count story telling as lyrical. like show goes on. if soulja boy spit those lyrics everyone would be like holy shit he went lyrical... but really i think LASERS is more about getting his message across, so his lyrics are just as meaningful just more to the point.
@LifeisMusic07 I rather he do a song with Damian marley. I like Nas like A lot. but they are quite similar in rap style, and I prefere some diversity in a song. Damian Marley brings that. You should dev. check out their ''new'' album. The Damian - Nas coalition works awesomely, and I would like to see Lupe in that equation. :)
