I enjoy listening to you speak French; following the subtitles also helps, and I can change the subtitles to English if I don't understand something. Lovely!
Man, I love your accent here!
❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Cool
Merci belle 🥰🥰
Spiderman?!? I'd like it to happen like in The Matrix: just download the language into my brain et voîla!
To be honest, I don't want to risk reducing the quality of my English even though I admire all the mathematicians, scientists academics etc eg on youtube for instance who speak English fluently or more than adequately as they need to study, teach or present in English as a second or third language.
I am also impressed with those genuinely bilingual people.
I must admit I am a bit less impressed with say former language students who learnt languages at school and university (as I do not see enough range of subject matter other than arts and literature) as they should be good at it and even less impressed with the celebrity pass which the rest of us don't get if we wish to be taken seriously in French.
It does get better the more often you switch between languages. Requires flexibility though. I’m not sure I understand your last sentence. What’s a celebrity pass?
@@JustFrenchIt What I mean by celebrity pass, is that I am sure that the rest of us when we need to be taken seriously when speaking French will have to do it much better than celebrities (eg in a business context, right register etc).
Ah yes of course. Us mere mortals have to make do with the tragedy of the real world 😁
