Well, it's obvious isn't it ? We almost never see this couple's romantic side. So when this couple showed us this scene, somehow it's answers our suspicions & questions about how Sasuke's feelings and love toward Sakura this whole time. And it works perfectly, it's so romantic & beautiful.

Oh but Sakura and Sasuke definitely make sense! They are the first canon couple, and they are the only ones who had a lot of moments together, a canon history from the start and till the end. They were set to be canon since the beginning. Whereas Naruto and Hinata (although I like them together), had to have a movie made for them, where NaruHina moments were added, for their relationship to make sense. Which makes it seem kinda forced in my opinion. Generally, there haven’t been shown much NaruHina action in the original storyline. And I know that many people will bring up the “But he tried to kill her several times!” Well.. Yes. BUT he was in a terrible mindset and basically wanted to kill everyone. During this time, Sasuke had just found out that he had wrongly killed his brother. He discovered that high ranking officials of his home village oversaw the slaughter of his entire clan and that his brother was forced to play the role as a double agent in all of the bloodshed. While Sasuke shouldn't have tried to kill Sakura, he was only trying to protect himself. The reason why Sakura approached him was that she was on a personal mission to kill him. There was an order by the stand-in Hokage Danzo to kill Sasuke on sight due to the fact that he was considered a rogue ninja. Sakura couldn’t bear the thought of anyone harming him, so she decided that she needed to be the one to do the deed. Regardless of everything that happened in these chapters/episodes, Sasuke did apologize to Sakura at the end of the series and it was implied that their bonds grew stronger. And also each time he attacked her, she attacked him FIRST. No other couple in the Narutoverse makes as much sense as SasuSaku does. It of course requires for one to understand the characters, especially Sasuke, who is a much misunderstood character. Read the manga and see all the little signs, gestures, facial expressions, understand every little word coming from Sasuke’s mouth, and you’ll understand that Sakura definitely is considered very dear to him, even when they were children. Sadly, the anime doesn’t show it as much as the manga does (I don’t think Studio Pierrot likes SasuSaku since they tend to skip certain and very important details). But again, that requires more understanding of the characters to see how and why they make a great couple.
this couple helps me calm down and forget about the whole world, they give me a sweet spot to live in, to be comfortable in, haters say that this couple doesnt make sense but his couple was the only couple who really went through harships and over came them all at the end, they taught me to forgive and be happy with my partner too
You guys have to know I've watched and read Naruto since I was grade 4 back to 2004, and love this couple from the beginning since then. Now I'm married and almost 30yo, how much happy do I feel like watching them grow up with me and they end up happily like this
