    It is so enjoyable not having to sit on the edge of my seat when you're watching Bonanza. No cuss words or surprise bedroom scenes. Thank you for wholesome entertainment.

      Except that people were being killed left and right. Like in this episode. Leon was a good man who was only trying to help Ben and got killed in cold blood for it. lol

    Used to watch this in the 1960’s, no Adam/Roberts, as he had eventually quit the series, plus Hoss/Blocker had lost some weight.

      @@amirahsadre4570 I agree. The more influential you are, the more friends and foes you accumulate. It is within human nature to question people's motives. Also, people might have confirmation bais. They might already think they are arrogant or mighty so anything that might paint them in a bad light is welcomed.

      the people rather grunt at the cartwrights instead of trying to find out the truth , cuz the CW was so rich , so the slightest hint that CW trying to ruin their might in money , they want the easiest way out , even tho the folks might be the ones misstaken the whole matter .

    As I watch some of these shows, trying to critique the odd writing that made it what it is, I think I figured out the character Sheriff Coffey...he is just a picture of all those old stupid westerns that had little to do with the real west...he is always wrong, always getting big posses
    to do his work and they never catch anyone. A very good satire!
    All the while before he was driving me nuts with the way the scripts were written. He was like the judge and Pacino in, "And justice For All."
    Coffey won't drive me so nuts anymore but it sure destroys an otherwise very fine series because Pernell Roberts is the one/only star that is mature, serious.

    • @kathyjohnson3457
      @kathyjohnson3457 Před rokem

      Pernell Roberts in my opinion as Adam was a dull character and full of himself and for real he thought he was above the others and of course he was not and he found that out since he didn’t accomplish much, that I know of but Trapper John and that was yrs later!!! He wasn’t as great as he thought he was and as great as you thought it was either!!

      Prob v true now.But when we were growing up,you could go out for the day & leave your doors unlocked.And take your baby or dog to a store & leave them outside in safety.Then I spent some time in a city due to a dumb mistake,n told to keep my jewellery out of sight.Hated the place.Thank heavens I got out eventually & left the encumbrance behind as well.Don't expect to ever get back home again though.Sadly.
