She knew today was a rough day, because of the harbinger meeting... He got called out on something that wasn't his fault. Y/N opened the door wide, revealing a disheveled Pantalone. "L/N." His eyes flicked up to Y/N's, a chill ran down her spine.
"I can go, it seems I'm interrupting you-" "Sit down," He ordered. Y/N bowed her head as she pulled out the chair in front of Pantalone's large dark oak desk. He poured himself another drink of hard whiskey, "Did you think I was at fault, L/N?" Y/N furrowed her brows in confusion, "At fault for what?" Pantalone slammed his crystal glass down, his other hand balling into a fist. "For that incompetent ginger's actions!" He shouted.
Pantalone stared at his assistant cowering from his voice's volume. The corner of his lip lifted, and he sobered up. "Are you afraid of me, L/N Y/N?" She shook her head, looking at him as if he asked her a stupid question. Pantalone was brought back to the conference, when he saw the ginger speaking with Y/N. "Do you have a secret relationship with that ginger?" Y/N's face turned a deep shade of red hearing his question.
"N..No, I don't."
Pantalone's eyes lit up with surprise, "Is that so?"
Y/N shifted uncomfortably under his feral gaze.
"You aren't lying to me, are you L/N?"
"No, sir.." Pantalone sighed standing up from his desk, frightening Y/N. She jumped from his abrupt movement. Walking around the desk he hovered above Y/N, staring down at her features. She looked away from him, afraid of his cold eyes.
~ Three Hours Ago ~
Pantalone backed Y/N into the ice covered wall, her back arched at it's touch. "Do not talk to that Harbinger again, do you understand me?" Y/N looked up at him. Pantalone stared down at her with serene rage, "Do you understand me, Y/N?" Y/N looked down at her shoes, hiding her flush face. Pantalone gripped her chin, forcing Y/N to look up at him. "Yes, sir." she whispered.
~ Current Time ~
"Keep your eyes only on me," Pantalone instructed, holding her chin in his cold pale hands. Y/N gulped looking up at him with big doe eyes, "Do you understand me?" Pantalone leaned down, his lips so close to hers. He awaited his answer.

The Fatui Harbingers were known as esteemed individuals working under the Tsaritsa. Turmoil arises wherever they step foot, and they’ve earned a reputation that makes travelers and rulers alike quiver in fear.
One of these venerated individuals in particular made you quiver, though not in the way most would think.
Dark, trenchant eyes pierced through you. You were pulled into a rough kiss, sandalwood scent acting as a drug, beckoning for you to be impossibly closer.
Once your lips parted, the man above you let out a low chuckle.
“Sweet as ever, dear,” he teased, leaning down, and you felt the ghost of his lips against your neck. “I’ve waited far too long to have you like this again.”
Currently ranked 9th of the Fatui Harbingers, Pantalone was slumped over you, with a slim finger curled under your chin.
“Me too,” you whispered. He hummed in acknowledgment, before submerging his teeth into your flesh. It tore a surprised whine from your mouth, and the regrator lifted his head up.
“Quiet, darling,” he spoke softly, though the smirk on his face told you he was enjoying seeing you like this. “Although we are currently in my private quarters, we don’t want to make a ruckus and stir unwanted attention towards us, now do we?” he mused.
You couldn’t help but look away from his eyes. The glint in his eyes held an impish light, and you did your best to avert his gaze.
Truth be told, the idea didn’t sound all that unpleasant. The thought of someone watching while he made you his caused your stomach to do flips. As vulgar and degrading as it was, a part of you got off on the idea.
“Now what’s this?” he asked. “Don’t tell me you find the idea… enticing?” his voice dripped with amusement.
Heat blossomed across your face. Voicing your thoughts out loud would only land you in an even more cumbersome situation. So instead, you opted to bite your tongue.
“My, I never knew my darling was entertaining such fanciful ideas,” his eyes were narrow, successfully abashing you. “If that’s the case, be as loud as you want.”
At his words, his lips crashed onto yours. Swift hands roamed your body. His touch was ardent, a tingling sensation lasting long after his hands trailed your figure. Your hands made their way into his hair, tangling themselves in the jet black tendrils.
Pulling away, the man lowered his head, pressing wet kisses against your exposed collarbone. A small moan left your lips.
“Just like that,” he breathed. “Show me how good you feel.”
You let out a whimper when he sank his teeth into your skin once more. Instinctively, your hands found his hair, tugging at the now tousled locks. A gravelly groan erupted from his throat. Another moan fell from your lips when he yet again sank his teeth into your soft flesh.
“God, keep making those sounds for me,” he huffed, before littering your neck in evidence of your shared night. “Let them all hear you, let them know you’re mine.”
His wish was your command. As the night went on, you were afraid you’d wake up with a hoarse voice from how much it was spent from the night before. His actions and yours would be carved in ice, forever preserved in your minds.

His voice echoing through your ears, your head turning in his direction as you were greeted with him towering over you.
You looked at him without answering, your eyes full of curiosity as his own eyes stared back at yours, shieled by those glasses he always wore.
"Haven't I told you already?"
"Told me what?" You asked. "Didn't I tell you to not look at other people?" His voice lowering along with his head, leaning close to your ear.
His breath just fanning your neck slightly, you flinched a little at the sudden contact.. Though his hands that were placed on your waist made you stand still.
"You're not allowed to look at anyone. Not Dottore, not Childe, not Capitano-- None of the other harbingers." He stated, moving away from your ear, but keeping a close distance to your face.
His arm hastily wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer as his other hand made its way to the back of your neck.
You jumped at his sudden action, your hands instantly placing themselves onto his chest as you tried to push away.. Yet his grip around you wouldn't allow you to move at all.
Well, at least there's one thing you can make sure of.
He has a big chest for sure.
Surely, he wouldn't notice if you gave it a quick squeeze.
"My dear. Don't look at my chest, look up at me."
Your eyes traveled up his body, from his chest, to his neck, his lips, to his eyes.

you let him kiss your cheek softly, then rest his head on your shoulder, twirling the end of the scarf in his hands. he looks at your tied wrists and laughs.
you tilt your head, as if to ask a question, feeling lips close to your collarbone. his teeth are sharp, you note, quite like that of dottore's, but different in a way.
all the money in the world, and he lusts after more, more, more.
he wants and whatever the almighty regrator wants, he will get his hands on, come hell or high water.
so you stagger into the dimly lit room, where he backs you against the wall, and the chandelier sways, ever alarmingly.
right now, there is no celestia, no battle with the abyss, no world as you know it.
there is him, and only him.
and he knows it, too.
so he whispers, words hypnotic, his presence dangerous. his eyes flicker, like the candlelight in the room.

The dark and brooding halls of the Harbinger's layer always made you ick. It was as if the walls itself came to life. Everytime you walked down the hall to your advisor Pantalone's office, you'd take a deep breath and close your eyes, then quickly speed walk to his office. Being the secretary for the Regrator was surely not what you were expecting to do as a job, but you got payed an immense amount of Mora for it.
This time, you were advised to seek an audience with Pantalone after a blue eyed ginger had came to visit his co-worker. He was the 11th Harbinger, was it? You had to admit, that man was very attractive. His beautiful, fair skin and freckles were to die for. His hair looked so soft and fluffy. Not to mention, the blue eyes...
You found it hard to look away from Childe -who you found out was his name after he requested to speak to Pantalone- as he spoke. He sounded a bit annoyed, but he kept his composure as he spoke with a heavy Russian accent.
“ Y/N...Y/N! Hellooo? ”
The voice of your boss, Pantalone, awoke you from your daze. The man had been snapping his fingers in front of your face. You blinked rapidly a couple of times before cleaning your throat.
“ S-Sir, um...a Harbinger is seeking audience with you in the front lobby-. He said it's something urgent. His name was...Childe, I believe? ”
Pantalone stared back at you with an emotionless gaze. Then he blinked and smiled, standing up from his swiveled chair.
“ Then an audience I shall provide him. Come with me. ”
You turned around and Pantalone came behind you, a hand on your back to guide you slowly out of the office room. He leaned into your ear.
“ You find him appealing, don't you miss/mister L/N? I can see it in your eyes...ah, but you're *my* assistant~ And I'll make sure you know of that~. ”
His voice sent shivers down your spine and your heart skipped a beat. You swore you could hear it in the silence that followed after as the two of you walked to the front lobby.
You kept glancing towards Childe as he spoke to Pantalone, meanwhile the Regrator kept peeking towards you. He held onto your arm and pulled you close, gripping tighter if he caught you staring at Childe.
*“ Keep your eyes on me, darling~ ”* He whispered to you.
It was as if he was jealous and possessive over you...but why? You didn't know that Pantalone had his eyes on you in that way...
Once Childe was done with complaining, Pantalone said a few words to ease his annoyance. The 11th Harbinger left. Pantalone grabbed hold of you and dragged you to his office. You looked up at him with fear and shock in your eyes. His eyes bore into yours with jealousy, intimidating you.
“ You seem too fond of him...no worries...I'll make sure you know you're mine~ ”
He smirked at you as he pinned you to the desk. Your fear and adrenaline rising as he chuckled.

The smell of grease and smoke filled your lungs as you sat on the jagged rock near the burning fire, polishing your claymore. You furrowed your brows in displeasure after noticing a small chip near the point of the blade. A gust of wind blew from your right side, causing the fire to go out. You groaned, finding that you were out of fire-starters. Turning towards the charred pile of wood, you raised your hand, focusing on the glowing embers. Then, in a swift motion, you twisted your wrist to have your palm face the sky and balled your hand into a fist as amber flames erupted from the once dim embers. Rubbing your hands together and leaning closer to the fire you sigh contently, feeling the warmth envelope you.
Suddenly, you jolt awake, feeling eyes on you. Sitting up, you look around, the dim light of the fire illuminating your surroundings. You abruptly pick up your claymore and chuck it behind you, swinging your body to face that direction. Seeing a tall figure gripping the blade between his middle and index finger standing five feet in front of you causes you to freeze in place.
The howling wind was the only thing that filled the deafening silence. With the heavy snow storm obscuring your vision, you push the hair out of your face and approach the figure, still holding your claymore with his slender fingers. It had taken you half a year just to master the grip of the heavy object, so seeing this mysterious being effortlessly keeping it perfectly still with just two fingers amazed you.
Stopping just a couple feet away from him you bring up your arm with an open palm and attempt to draw it back to your hand. Seeing as it is only shaking between his grasp you stop, and walk closer to the mysterious person, stopping just in front of them.
Now being able to make out the man’s features, you notice his violet eyes staring back into yours. His luscious jet black hair flowing almost elegantly from the heavy wind mesmerized you. Your eyes trailed further down to his lips. Slightly cracked, but soft looking at the same time formed in a condescending grin. If he hadn’t been so beautiful, you would most likely have killed him right there.
“What do you want from me?” You spoke coolly, keeping your gaze on him while gripping the slightly worn handle of your blade. His grin only widened feeling your powerful tug. However, his grip was unwavering, only loosening when he felt the heat burn through his leather glove. You took the chance to snatch your claymore back and strike the blade into the ground, now upright in the snow. He lowered his hand and went closer to you. Uncomfortably close..
“My name is Pantalone.”
“Didn’t ask.” He pushed his glasses up, chuckling at your snarky attitude and continued.
“Alright, I know that you’re Y/n. I also know that you have great strength..” He trailed off and leaned into your ear, holding the other side of your head with his hand and burying his face into your hair, inhaling your scent.
“What about it?” You continued cautiously, uncomfortable with the situation.
“Join the Fatui. With your wits and ability you can easily get a high rank. You won’t ever have to sleep outside again, at least.. Not out in the open.” He snickered to himself at the last part. You had to admit, it was intriguing and you always wanted to be part of an organization. Moments went by as you continued to contemplate his offer before finally coming to a decision.
“Sure.”
3 YEARS LATER
“G-Good morning ma’am!” A young Fatui agent greeted you, it had been like this for a couple months now. He was recently recruited and unfortunately you had been assigned to show him the ropes. Even as the eighth harbinger you were given the shitty work. Now that you’ve been teaching this agent for so long he seemed to think you were friends, and you could already think of one person who would be against the idea..
“Morning.” You throw a forced smile his way and keep walking, expecting him to leave you alone.
“Wait! M-May I please speak to you in private?..” He stutters nervously. You raise a brow, skeptical but go along with it.
“Alright, follow me.” Sighing, you turn to the other direction and walk in long strides. Not waiting to see if he had followed you, you unlock your office and walk in. As the young agent followed you inside in awe of the cleanliness you take a seat behind your desk and wait for him to begin.
“Well? What is it that you need?” You question irritably, tired of waiting. His eyes widen as he blushes, embarrassed of making you wait for so long.
“I..” He starts, trying to find the right words as he approaches your desk. Suddenly, he stops and looks down at the floor while looking under his dark boot. You lean over to see what he was looking at when you abruptly choke and burst into a fit of coughs, remembering this morning’s events.
7:42 AM
“Ha~..” You moan, rolling your head back in satisfaction. With one hand gripping the edge of the polished cherry wood desk and another tangled in the roots of long black hair.

“I-I like you miss!” He booms and bows at a 90° angle. You stare at his form unsurprised, after all, he was quite obvious.
“I’m sorry but I already-“
“She’s taken.” An authoritative voice echoed through the walls of your office. Smirking, you turn towards the sound, already knowing who it is. The tall male takes your side and reaches for your hand, placing a chaste kiss on the back of your palm.
“Pantalone.” You greet with a loving smile on your face.

@@zacktheslayer6564 To some extent, yes, but I fully understand this. It is easier to love something understandable than a real unpredictable person. Our brains love to take the easy way, and loving characters (games, anime, TV shows, whatever) is an easy way to get the hormones of joy.
For me, the desire to be in the place of the characters looks terrible. Like I saw comments on the picture where Il Dottore will perform the operation on Scaramouche, and a lot of people wrote "Oh I want to be in Scaramos's place"
