    Life sentence for every one who took part in this cover up, to be served in Walton

      As much as I’ve always known who were to blame, I believe it was a collective domino effect; a conundrum of ill-trained, short funded “professionals”.
      Serving a life sentence for those “professionals” is harsh. I’ve held many high professional responsibilities during my early 20s and have felt overwhelmed and under uneducated on several occasions, but to serve a life sentence would feel quite strong because I’m not a bad person.
      Hillsborough in my opinion feels like a mixture of corporate and government going back and fourth in blame.

    They stopped using hillsborough for semi finals for 6 years after the problems in 1981. In those years the pens were added on the leppings lane terrace yet the capacity stayed the same as before the addition of the pens. How did they work that out?? So 1987 comes around and hillsborough hosts another semi final. And guess what happens?? There’s problems with overcrowding at the leppings lane end. The kick off was delayed. That should have been the last semi final at hillsborough. But it wasn’t. Then we have the 1988 semi final at hillsborough. Crushing problems on the leppings lane terrace. And the following year 96 fans die horribly and needlessly. All because of the incompetence and indifference of South Yorkshire police, the club and the local licensing authorities.

    I have total respect for the independent panel here because they played a part in contributing to the quashing of the original accidental death verdict, plus going back David Duckenfield's not guilty verdict, I still think that he knows a lot more than he let on at that trial x

      +pebs cove The 'dislikers'? Yes, well, there are always sociopathic scumbags in life. Still waiting for the verdict of the official Inquiry and I hope that once it is returned, the whole of the MSM and establishment will be made to eat humble pie along with all those who bought into the lies and coverup. Prosecutions must follow to help ensure that this appalling betrayal by the MSM and authorities never happens again. Never mind Leveson, there should be a law where the owners of print media are held totally accountable for the actions of their newspapers and fined accordingly (£1 billion would be a start.)

    Coverups by people who are COWARDS and have no compassion for those who died. I was 11 and could see exactly what was happening a crush and I was watching it live on tv from Ireland as a Liverpool fan. All these people should be jailed for life.

    • There was the possibility of a riot occurring outside the gates, a Police Officer rightly decided to cool matters down by opening the gates, he was not expecting a stampede to occur, it did and the fans who rushed in are too blame for this tragedy. No one else. Similar things have happened time and again worldwide. Crowd crush injuries do occur, and on this occasion Liverpool fans are to blame. What I claim was filmed in the gateway entrance streets before the game commenced. This Coroners verdict will be overturned on Appeal. The hand of God was involved here. *China, 1000 people were killed in a stampede in an air raid shelter. 1990 Mecca tunnel tragedy: 1426 people killed. 2015 Hajj stampede At least 2,177 people killed.

    • @inlovewithmanchestercunnin5661
      @inlovewithmanchestercunnin5661 Před 8 lety +8

      Yes the outer gate should of been opened only when the tunnel entrance to pens 3&4 was shut!! Thus meaning fans would filter to the pens to the side of 3&4 avoiding the whole disaster. That exact practice was done the year before. The Liverpool fans fault? Are you a wind up merchant? The fault and the manslaughter of 96 innocent, sober , decent football fans is all Supt David Duckenfield for his dereliction of duty on 15/4/89. He is also a lying fucking coward who isnt fit to lace any of the 96' boots. Well Ducky lad Justice is gonna catch you up!!! JFT96 RIP96..........MCFC M20

    • @TheEmmakathryn
      @TheEmmakathryn Před 6 lety +1

      The grounds were unsafe and had been for years, before the alterations to add the pens which worsened the problem and invalidated their safety certificate. The police should have stopped the match the minute they realised there was a problem, that would have stopped the crush at the gates leading to kick off too. And they never should have lied and covered up and blamed the victims for what happened. It was never the fault of the 96 or anyone involved. rip

    • @TheEmmakathryn
      @TheEmmakathryn Před 6 lety +4

      The first victim was at 2.57, two minutes before gate c was opened. The police knew there were people in distress and ignored their cries. They could see from the police box. They could see on the ground. They could see people climbing over the fences and into the higher screams, there were people in the side pens calling to them to assist, including the father of two daughters who died. The police did nothing.
