    I am big fan of all of the old school Marvel from like the silver age. Keep up the good work.

    It's neat to see the comics from that year in chornological order because of the different guest appearances happening in the early Marvel comics; it really shows off the shared universe that was being created back then. Especially between the Torch and Spidey who were both teens.

      I absolutely agree. It's been fun to read them that way too, and see how all of the heroes interact.

      I'm really so glad! This was exactly why I started doing this, to try to share early and obscure Spider-Man comics with people and create a resource for new and old fans. I really appreciate you being here!

      @@every_spider-man_ever And thanks to your videos its gotten me interested in reading some back issues of comics, I recently just started reading xmen starting from giant sized xmen, and want to start reading some classic spiderman(but your videos are so good I might just watch them instead lol)

      There's a link to where you can read each issue on Marvel Unlimited and I highly recommend that. Recapping in a short time means I naturally have to lose some of the great dialogue and the smaller, interpersonal scenes. They're well worth the read!

    Hey what’s the reason for deleting most of the text?

    • @every_spider-man_ever
      @every_spider-man_ever  Před 22 dny +1

      Hi Eric. Good Question! The answer has two reasons:
      1) The intention for these recaps is to be quick and snappy, to very quickly tell the story. I'm very conscious of where people's eyes go in the edit, and when there is lots of text it makes it hard to focus on one thing, and it slows people's ability to watch.
      2) These recaps are intended as quick summaries or reminders of each issue, and I'm keen that they're not replacements to the comics themselves. The easiest way to do that is by removing much of the text, so that there is still stuff to read. I also provide the official link to read the comic on Marvel Unlimited where possible.
      The text I do keep is either intended to provide a little extra explanation, or to emphasize a point, or to be an ironic counterpoint to what I'm saying.

    This video is great but a bit confusing. If this is supposed to be all of spider mans comics appearances, does that mean crossovers? Cuz your mentionin legit spider man comics like he is just making an appearance in his own comic.

    • @every_spider-man_ever
      @every_spider-man_ever  Před měsícem

      Yeah, it's a little hard to explain up top without taking ages. It is every comic book that features Spider-Man. In this video, it's every comic book that features Spider-Man that has a cover date in 1964.
