She developed long Covid in 2021 - and developed severe complications that nearly took her life a year ago. She's lost a significant portion of her memory and only vaguely remembers me - and she does not remember our relationship. We are now living in separate states and are physically separated. Due to additional extenuating circumstances, I have not seen her - and I haven't heard her beautiful voice -- in over a year. This past summer we were communicating (texts and photos) and there appeared to be encouraging signs that we were rekindling our relationship, but everything just stopped toward the end of summer. The pain of being apart from her is beyond excruciating, given we had shared and gone through and done SO much together, both before she got sick and while she was sick. As Freddie sang - I would indeed trade my life for just one (more) kiss from her - or for even just once more chance to again say to her - "I love you". 😞💔😢
