She's had to set up a campaign operation with staff, vet and interview a dozen Vice Presidential candidates, and organize a National Presidential Convention,which includes speakers, coordinated political content with her own speech and it's outlined policy agenda. All this has been completed, and completed quite well, in only 5 weeks. Now that the big obligations of setting up her campaign are over, she should have some time to focus in a bit more on her policy agenda. On the other hand, Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President November 12, 2022, which is 22 MONTHS. It's grotesquely unfair to hold Harris to the same level of policy completion as Trump. Frankly, as a citizen, I don't want to be subjected any political agenda that has been constructed under the kind of duress that Kamala has been under in the last 5 weeks. I hope she can spend more time on it than 5 weeks while simultaneously being required to put together a campaign operation, hire a Vice President, and organize a National Convention. Further, I find it grossly unfair to claim that Biden's agenda is HER agenda. It is her job as VP to support the President wheter she likes his policies or not. While she comes to an agreement with Biden on how to support HIS policies, it doesn't mean they are HER policies. I WOULD NOT agree to a debate on ABC if I was Trump. It WILL NOT help him. It may cause him to lose. Unless Harris shows up drunk, all you’ll get is non-stop coverage for a week about how terrible Trump did. Just imagine the soft balls Harris will get compared to the argumentative questions Trump will have to field for 90 minutes. Trump should do as he did before,and that is propose three debates, two with the leftist media and one with FOX. All of them or nothing. Or, he should propose a three hour debate. Three hours so the public can judge the stamina of the Commander in Chief. Doing so, will level the playing field. Harris will run out of her canned responses and lose the debate. She can only remember so many questions and answers.
Regarding the national security/commander-in-chief topic and Harris video- Jonathan Turley coined the term "political prozac" to define what the dems and complicit media are peddling- a kind of" just vote for us and you will feel the joy!" and the Harris video is no exception. In fact this is essentially the same strategy that the Biden campaign used and the reasons for doing this are obvious- in both cases the candidates cannot stand up to scrutiny. Trump is not a mystery. The fact that the dems feel the need to hide Harris give her campaign a sinister feel to me.

Kamala Harris announced her candidacy for President July 21, 2024. That was 5 weeks ago, which is ONE MONTH PLUS ONE WEEK. Since that time, she has been on the road traversing the country and speaking at almost daily campaign rallies. She's had to set up a campaign operation with staff, vet and interview a dozen Vice Presidential candidates, and organize a National Presidential Convention,which includes speakers, coordinated political content with her own speech and it's outlined policy agenda. All this has been completed, and completed quite well, in only 5 weeks. Now that the big obligations of setting up her campaign are over, she should have some time to focus in a bit more on her policy agenda.
On the other hand, Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President November 12, 2022, which is 22 MONTHS.
It's grotesquely unfair to hold Harris to the same level of policy completion as Trump. Frankly, as a citizen, I don't want to be subjected any political agenda that has been constructed under the kind of duress that Kamala has been under in the last 5 weeks. I hope she can spend more time on it than 5 weeks while simultaneously being required to put together a campaign operation, hire a Vice President, and organize a National Convention.
Further, I find it grossly unfair to claim that Biden's agenda is HER agenda. It is her job as VP to support the President wheter she likes his policies or not. While she comes to an agreement with Biden on how to support HIS policies, it doesn't mean they are HER policies. Since she now has the responsibility to create her own policies, she very much needs to reconsider Biden's policies and what she might want to change. Of course you all know that, you are just taking an opportunistic swipe at her by claiming she hasn't put out her policies. I think she is making an effort to create her platform and disseminate her policies as they are completed. These little games don't have any effect on me.

The anxiety about wars is understandable. But the framing as though American can avoid war if we just “don’t get into wars” is incredibly shortsighted. The enemy gets a vote too.
