Fixed or not it was one of the most entertaining matches of Euro 2004 against these 2 Scandinavian countries. As I saw it the fact that Denmark kept attacking even after their 2-1 lead and that the equaliser goal was scored just a minute before the 90 ( might ) be some proof that it was a fair match.

"Fixed or not", Not fixed, clearly. Also, even though you are not accussing anyone of anything I still find the fact that you feel like having to find proof why it wasnt fixed rather than the reverse to sadly be kind of symptomatic for how a vocal italian minority has seemingly managed to skew the view on this whole situation. (Which is sadly kind of typical, the more "powerful" country has the manpower and force to scream louder, so they can be hypocrites about things and still get away with it).
Italy played poorly in this tournament, despite a stone team with Del Piero and many others. They drew Denmark. They drew Sweden (amazing flick by Ibrahimovic). And they were drawing Bulgaria until extra time, whom the Nordics had beaten by 5-0 and 2-0. You can’t really complain much with that performance. And once the score in this match reaches the dreaded 2-2 at the 89th minute, why wouldn’t both teams play conservatively as to not die on a counterattack? That’s football.

With all these italians about I first thought you where serious, but watching it again I understand what you mean.
Italy was unlucky, get over it. It's clear to see that both teams went for the win (and I can guarantee both teams would LOVE to throw the other out). It was only at the end where it was 2-2 that they passed it around, which was obviously because they didn't wanna take the risk of losing the match. Even though Denmark and Sweden are good friends outside of the pitch, when they get on the pitch, it is one of the biggest rivalries in international football. I can't think of a team I wanna beat more than Sweden, coming from a Dane

100% a fixed match and im a Swede myself. The danes would have eat the Swedish team for breakfast(just look at how the danes grew as a football nation after their euro cup win). It is hilarious that Italians still consider this game fixed! Not many of them (if any) watched the game, but I guess the thief thinks all men steal. To be fair: how is this any different from this year's Italy vs. Wales? Nor Italy or Wales did much to alter the result from 1-0, because it would send them both through. And did you hear the Swiss complain even though this meant that they had to face France and later on Spain instead of Denmark and Czech Republic? Look at it! The Italian side was shit, fooling around with bright smiles on their faces, even substituting the goalkeeper just for fun! So in conclusion, Italy, you're a country of a lot of people and a lot of gifted footballers, and even though all of your mamas think you are the center of the universe, you have to face your own inadequacies once in a while instead of just blaming everybody else. Very wrong! There are no similitudes between this crap fixed game between the Denmark team and Swedish team, and the game between Italy and Wales. Everybody talked back then, in euro 2004, that the result between those teams would be 2-2 and it was 2-2. Maybe you don't know how the Denmark team qualified for that Euro 2004, being helped alot by Urs Meyer, the well known referee of that times, in the decisive match with Romania. It was very clear that Uefa wanted the north countries to be powerful at that Euro. So clear that, maybe you forgot, after this Euro, there were some big changes in Uefa, because this game was such a big corruption proof that even the biggest fans of those who were in charge back then in Uefa, couldn't comment or argue anything in their defence. So, what are we talking about? I was very glad to see that in the next round, both Sweden and Denmark were beaten :) And i am not an italian...

Yes, defending in additional time it is allowed, but that match would have been played till the morning only for Denmark to score, that s what Meyer did. I am not pissed off about that extra time only, maybe you should see the match again and tell me please where on Earth was that a penalty, the one Meyer gave your Denmark country as the first gift in the first half. Also, all the invented fouls for Denmark and the how he didn t gave any foul for Romania from goid positions. Also, say hello to the second Danish scorer, I don t recall his name, who first touched the ball with his hand and only after that he scored. It was a shame of a qualification fir you. I am not sure what you are saying, but Im assuming you are counting cup titles between the three countries, in which case I have to enlighten you to the fact that noone is claiming Sweden and Denmark to be better than Italy overall, also, (and I do have the audicity to claim I speak for most danes and swedes now) I would like to stop being attacked with maliscious accusations from bitter italians now, it is not a nice thing to hear when two rivals have had a die-hard sports match that just happened to end up in a way that one of the other competitors didnt like.
Watch the whole game, and follow the defenders. So many “random” misses as in no other game. And 2:2 is a ca. 5% chance to play. So, what are the odds here?

You know what's embarrassing? Failing to beat Denmark and Sweden, and only scraping past Bulgaria. You were deservedly eliminated.
Honestly, being such a bitter and deluded person as to honestly think this match was fixed is a level of dishonesty and gall that I personally dont find a world cup gold to be worth, and though I know the word integrity is just as much worth nowadays as a non-pandemic roll of toilet paper, Id rather have that. As shifty as it might sound for someone to called themselves honest, I do think Im too honest to be able to live with myself if deliberate lying and delusion is the price to pay for it.

Did you actually watch the video. Denmark was up 2-1 and kept attacking, trying to score another goal. The Swedish goalkeeper had to make real saves to stop them. That's not something you do, if the game was fixed. Sweden only scored in the last minute. There is literally nothing shady about this match.
