    On Saturday, November 12, South Australia has been lashed by heavy rain, wild wind and thunderstorms. The bad weather caused widespread blackouts across the Adelaide suburban area, including Westfield Marion shopping center.
    Wind gusts up to 106 km/h were recorded at Adelaide Airport just before 4 pm on Saturday. Strong winds were also recorded in Adelaide's south, with gusts up to 96 km/h at Sellicks Hill, and 91 km/h at Kuitpo and Noarlunga.
    The deteriorating weather also forced the cancellation of the Handpicked music festival, featuring Hilltop Hoods. There are currently 85 power outages across the state, affecting more than 27,000 homes and businesses.
    According to the Bureau of Meteorology there have been about 143,000 lightning strikes over South Australia in the past 24 hours. The State Emergency Service received around 1200 calls for assistance, primarily reporting fallen trees, roof damage and some flooding.
    The wet weather system is moving west and is expected to hit residents in both New South Wales and Victoria throughout Sunday. Victorians have been warned of thunderstorm asthma as extreme pollen levels are spread across the state by strong winds.
    The channel lists such natural disasters as:
    1) Geological emergencies: Earthquake, Volcanic eruption, Mud, Landslide, Avalanche;
    2) Hydrological emergencies: Flood, Tsunami, Limnological disaster,
    3) Fires: Forest fire, Peat fire;
    4) Meteorological emergencies: Tornado, Cyclone, Blizzard, Hail, Drought, Tornado, Hail, Hurricane, Tsunami, Storm, Thunderstorm, Tempest.

    At the end of the day we have storms in Australia just like other parts of the world. This report stated the storm was heading west to the States of NSW and Victoria. Only problem is they are East of Adelaide, SA.

    This is nothing to do with “Climate change”. These storm have been occurring in Australia since before anyone can remember. Ten years ago during one of our long droughts, one fool in charge of government policies said it would never rain again. Rather than building dams to collect water for future droughts, the government spent billions building desalination plants. They have never been used but it is still costing over a million dollars a day just to maintain one plant in Victoria. Our old dams are overflowing and we have floods now that the rain cycle has returned.... as history showed it would.

      ...yep, Adelaide in 1987 had massive rain and storms. The current situation in Australia is due to three oceanic drivers - IOD, La Nina, Southern Ocean and the Tongan volcano. It probably also explains the drought in western United States, and East Africa. What rain they may have gotten has been sucked away and dumped on Australia, or at least the east half.

    Lots of moisture in the air over Antarctica after the Tongan Volcano eruption sent a record-breaking cloud of ash and water more than 57 kilometers into the air. We have a Strong Antarctic polar vortex adding to south-east Australian rainfall and bringing floods. On top of that we also have a negative Indian Ocean Dipole on the West coast bringing in moisture and a La Niña on the East Coast.

    This is a normal cycle after severe drought will get a few years of this and lessons until drought hit again then gets hotter and hotter until we have a fire storms then drought breaks and starts this cycle again as a kid I spent some x mas watching hail storms and others 45 degrees this is Australia 🇦🇺
    Look up the song this is Australia by ganggajang about weather
    Also by the seeker's we are Australia also has about our weather
    Great Southern land by ice house it'll show you our climate
    This is nothing new always after servere drought mega floods
    The ground becomes hydrophobic from drought and fires
    It's how regulates the animals and the fauna which relies on fire to seed for regrowth and why we get flood for seeds to germinate
    Weeks after fires you'll see new growth on trees everywhere and heap of new plants and trees growing
    This is why we all live along the coast line where the water is as it come through our river system
    The droughts have been worse as photos of our main river system dried up and cars parked in it
    Same with floods they've been higher as didn't ever get to top of permanent flood markers from years decades before
    These are generational so alot haven't seen these but for us who been here for a while have seen them a couple of times
    Their only doing more damage as governments planners allowed houses and towns built in area's not suitable for humans
    Flood and fire zones but they don't care as by the time these come around their no longer in power and don't have to worry about it
    The more they allow to imagrate the worse it'll get in lose of lives and devastation of property
    This is why we had planning to stop this but the mighty dollar wins everytime
    Just like their green agenda load of crap all about money 💵

My best friend who lives at Morphettville had something similar happen in the afternoon but with the added bonus of losing power sometime after 2 am Sunday morning and still has no power 26 hours later. According to SA Power Networks she wont have power restored until late Tuesday. I lent her one my solar power packs (250 Watts) so she can at least have some power for a couple of lights. I did invite her to crash here for the night, but she didn't want to leave her 2 cats and her dog alone all night.
    Oh by the way, Vic and NSW are East of Adelaide, South Australia not West.

I have neighbor’s with a roof that resembles Swiss cheese and I myself had 4 roof leaks, lost half a fence and now have mould in my car. More rain is not what much of adelaide needs at all right now. Especially as many have lost hundreds of dollars in perishables, plus the cost of insurance premiums (if it’s even covered), repairs, wages, and loss of income from power outages etc. not to mention the huge cost to businesses! Not sure if you saw that many trees fell on power lines and took out the infrastructure completely? This isn’t due to age of infrastructure.. additionally I live 10 mins from CBD and I didn’t see sunny skies at all.. 👀 with peace and love ❤️ .. I guess it all depends on your perspective and privilege.. as you say.. so fabulous for the wildflowers.. pity the farmers and market gardeners have lost all their crops and top soil.. if only us working peasants were privileged enough to be able to go visit the wildflowers.

    From what I have researched and analyzed The violence is increasing than it has been every year.
    if
    UN approves me to solve global warming problem, I will fix the problem ASAP. There is enough information I have to prove to everyone that scientific approaches and solutions to global warming can be restored to normal.....

    And it's just the beginning of the last time. Many people refused God's Law. Many leaders are doing wrong things. Vatican's pope still bow down and speak to statues :) of Fatima, instead of praying to Lord Jesus Christ. As he sacrificed Ukraine & Russia to her, that's why it doesn't help. And he still teach to celebrate Sunday 1st day of the week, instead of Sabbath 7th day according to Law of God. It's not possible to solve problems of the world practicing lawlessness. So all need to repent & go back to the true worship of God)

    Never mind all that we had a nest in the gum tree out the front of our house. A dear little family of magpie larks. Gone. No babies are on the ground today. They must have drowned in the nest. I don't know where the parent birds went. I used to like storms but not any more. I grieve those new lives that never stood a chance and the parents if they lived now facing emptiness where two days ago they were busy feeding their young.
