Everyone is feeling sorry for Reiss but I actually feel sorry for Sonia, imagine finally feeling like you’ve found the one to then realising it’s pretty much a lie, we can’t expect her to just take him because he has a sob story, it’s no excuse he lied and should’ve said from the beginning. Sonia has the right to decide if she wants to be with him or not based on the whole truth, not the lie he was tying to sell.

it's rather hilarious and sad at the same time that this guy basically stuck up for rocky, who is also still married and never told kathy - constantly going on about not thinking the worst of rocky, he must have his reasons, etc etc,
but rocky immediately judged him as soon as he overheard reiss on the phone speaking of debbie (who for all we knew at the time, could've been his daughter or something)
Maybe Rocky was learning from his mistakes, plus he still sees Sonia as a daughter so that’s probably why he wanted to tell her.
Reiss stuck up for Rocky because he was madly deflecting the hell out of his own internal guilt. Rocky was judgemental because Reiss kept his own little secret the entire time acting innocent whilst Rocky (rightly) had to earn back everyone’s trust and respect. Rocky knows better than anyone how much it devastated Sonia when she found out he wasn’t her real father, but he clearly genuinely cares for her as if she were his own. Because he’s been there and done that himself he doesn’t trust Reiss. It’s like overprotective dads who fight off teenage boys because they remember what they were like chasing other people’s daughters.

Reiss should’ve been honest with Sonia from the start. Don’t blame Sonia. Still I hope Sonia forgives Reiss.
And a pretty sick storyline to be fair ..having it off with someone moving In while his wife is very ill .
It’s Jane and David all over again. Except Jane was honorable and told Ian, and I believe held back from a romantic relationship until David passed

I do feel for Reiss going through this ordeal but at the end of the day he's cheated on his wife and should have told Sonia at the beginning. Hope he stays in EastEnders as he's a good actor but I think that'll be the last we see of him. 😟
I agree, if he’d been honest, him and Sonia could’ve been really good friends and she would’ve been able to support him. Cheating is wrong, especially cheating on your sick partner.

I actually felt sorry for Reiss, Sonia needs to stop being so judgemental like she is so perfect.
I feel bad for him, I can understand how lonely it must be now his wife can’t communicate or even live with him anymore and she’ll probably never recover. But Sonia hasn’t done anything wrong. He lied, if he’d been honest with Sonia from the start, she might not have wanted a relationship but maybe a friendship with him. She might have still asked him to move in so he wouldn’t be lonely. Cheating is cheating and it’s wrong, especially when your partner is ill.
I dont feel bad for him honesty is the best policy if he had found a way to reach out and tell her his situation and whats available instead literal 2 tyming he would been better off not using sonia even if unitentional its not right no matter the reason

I think this is another predictable storyline. I think Debbie will come out of her coma, Reiss will be forced to choose and Sonia will get the short end of the stick.
I would have done the same thing as sonia, I mean he was the one making his conscious choices.
Exactly why are people defending him? Like I get the loneliness, but if he had told Sonia from the start they could’ve had a really good friendship and she could’ve supported him. But there’s no excuse for cheating, especially if your partner is ill.
@@user-zw2hn9eu1l I think it's partly to do with the fact that Sonia isn't as iconic or 'meme machine' as Sharon, Kat, Peggy, Stacey and Jabitch.
I feel truly sorry for reiss for what he is going through, now that his wife Debbie is in a hospice/care facility terminally ill from a major severe stroke. I strongly think that Reiss felt really frightened, scared and afraid of how sonia would react to it all. I simply don't trust that Rocky at all, because rocky is a total stirrer and Martin was so awful as well. And Rocky should have kept his mouth shut altogether. And I think that Sonia shouldn't have walked away from Reiss, which really broke my heart. 💔😢 Hope that Lola will give Sonia some strongful advice, and then Sonia will give Reiss another chance, and they will be back together and reunited.😀❤

I think if Reiss has been honest from when he met Sonia, they could’ve been really good friends and she would’ve supported him. But cheating is cheating. Why would lola support him? I don’t think she’d be very happy if Jay cheated on her and used her cancer as the excuse.
