sharing my story because even if nobody sees this..its worth it. i never attempted suicide, i never stopped eating, i never self harmed but i have battled my own mind and its thoughts for a really long time. i got into this band around the same time that all of the depression and suicidal thoughts started. i cant tell you how many times i would honestly just play addict with a pen or kitchen sink or even ode to sleep and just lay on my floor and cry. i thought i wasnt worthy of life, i thought i didnt deserve to live anymore. to hear two random grown men tell me to stay alive, was the thing that saved me. when it felt like nobody cared, i had tyler and josh and i had the whole clique. we all care for each other just like my family and friends shouldve. to come back on here now and hear this, i cried because i am so happy i stayed alive. stay alive frens, its worth it. i really promise that. i love you.

When you feel alone, heavy, and you listen to any of their song, i can assure you that someone is listening to it too. We're very different in our own ways and yet the same. I know nothing is easy, that's probably the first reason you're here. But please. Keep going..we understand you and we, truly are a family. I'm not exaggerating when i say that this band saved me. I know things would have been easier if people close to us felt more like home than some random stranger over the internet but.. that's how it is.
