I love Tenoch huerta and the twist they did to Namors origin. But there’s no way shuris back panther should’ve beaten him. It should’ve taken Riri’s IronHeart and Shuri to take him down to be honest. In the comics Namor can go toe to toe with the likes of Hulk. And he once drew blood from Thanos.

Thank you DoomBlazer, thank you for not being the only one who agrees that the MCU Namor is better than the comic version, I lost all hope for this character for years and when he made love with Susan Storm, that for me ruined the Namor character, and I hated him after that and after seeing him it got me interested in this version of Namor and he's not heartless like in the comics and gave me some hope and hoping in the future won't make a move on Susan, because I don't want Reed Richard and Susan Storm relationship to be ruined and Marvel to not ruined their relationship and leaving them be
Uh, sorry, but Reed and Sue's relationship is already ruined:
Treats her like a child.
Ignores her in favor of research.
Emotionally unavailable.
Keeps so many dangerous secrets from her that she had to start keeping secrets of her own in turn (which means that there's a lack of trust both ways).
Considers science more important than his own family.
Cannonically will tip over into insanity without her (so she can't leave unless she's willing to endanger EVERYONE).
Leaves everything that is not his research and/or inventing things for her to do.
And... That doesn't even get into his relationships with his kids. They have to wedge themselves into his attention by helping him with his science. His son had make ENTIRE UNIVERSES just for Reed to parent him. That, or there has to be some kind of emergency.
Trust me; I've seen this sort of thing in real life.

@@adriana.5446 To start off with; I do agree that he should not be making moves on an already married woman. That said, the writers' faults or not it is still -- unfortunately -- cannon. And you can blame Namor's behavior on the writers too.
But, because of those writers, Reed and Sue's marriage is still ruined and, since you don't seem to know about this; I don't remember which issue it was, but in Illuminati Namor actually got on Reed's case about not spending enough time with his family.

'The lore is more interesting in the MCU' 🤣 you have clearly not read comic books about Sub-Mariner. Namors origin is interlinked with Atlantis in Marvel comics, and Atlantis goes all the way back to Kull the Conquerer and Conan comics. The history surrounding The comics Sub-Mariner during his time with the defenders, Fighting off Nazis with Captain America, Bucky, and the two human torches, makes him way more interesting.

Hey Doom, I notice from a previous CZcams Shorts that you discussed the runtime of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Peyton has confirmed it’d be avengers-level and how it may be a little too short for being 125 minutes, I just wanted to let you know that I think the characters and story and other attributes can fit, look at Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, it isn’t two hours but handles multiple characters and the story and other attributes, if Puss in Boots could do it I definitely think Ant-Man 3 could do it as well, hope you see this.

No, the comic Namor is better. There is contractual rights prohibiting Namor from a one to one adaption, resulting in the version we got. Which was good. Just not better then comics version. There are movie screen heroes I prefer over comics, like Cap. America (Steve) or Killmonger… Namor is not one.
