Your music is what has prompted me to play the first game and this one as well when it releases. Absolutely magnificent. I keep watching this trailer and all the reactions to it again and again just for the orchestra at the end. The game itself looks stunning but i can say for certain that your music is what has got me even more interested for this franchise.
Much love to all the musicians and singers who were a part of this performance as well. They are all phenomenal.

Greetings from the Czech Republic, birthplace of Kingdom Come and Mafia. And look for Daniel Vávra behind everything. The guy who was told everyone that no one would be interested in a game from the Middle Ages and the Czech kingdom wiped everyone's eyes with more than 6 million copies sold. A week ago, even though we wished we had, no one knew if Kingdom Come 2 was even in the works. That this game will be out this year is like a revelation. I see the reaction of Jan Valta, the composer of the music for both Kingdom Come games. His music literally gives me chills. The combination of these two gentlemen is absolutely perfect. I'm crossing my fingers and looking forward to the game.

I’ve been gaming all of my 34 years of life.
KCD is one of my all time favorites, and I’m beyond excited for KCD 2
    Edit:
I heard him read off a chat that this game isn’t for them, and that they’re waiting for RDR3 and fallout 4 update..
I have to say don’t count it out until you’ve tried it. If you like rdr2, fallout, Skyrim/oblivion, you’ll like KCD. I’d put money on it.
(IF you’re willing to learn the combat and have patience, because you literally start as a good for nothing scrub but it’s entirely different a few hours in).

One thing you gotta remember in KCD. When you get a quest that says : come see me tomorrow evening. That means tomorrow evening. You can’t come in two days. The quest will have failed. This is offcourse not true for most of the main quests. But even there you’ll get to see different situations developmdepending on the tiniest decisions

The firearm in the trailer is litteraly the first ever design for a gun.
Just a tube with a whole, no trigger, no stock, no sights, you fire it by litteraly puting a lit rope in the hole and when the fire touches the powder it blows up.
10:50 I remember doing a quest in the first game where i ended up protecting heretics from a papal inquisitor, (you can also kill or turn them in) and Henry got scolded by one of the high ranking nobles (i think he was an uncle of the heir?) he said that it was wrong to let them leave, becouse the only thing that holds the country together is if people dont question the church.
And you know what? Hw was somewhat right this game takes place just a few years before a huge religious war in Bohemia.
There is also a quest where you spy on a witch gathering, you can kill the witches or the "good christians" who want to kill the witches.
Henry can be charming knight, a sleezy guy, or a pimp. Depends on how you play.
11:30 there is dice, alchemy, lockpiking, and they gonna add forging swords as well.
Oh yeah in the first game Henry starts out not being able to read, you have to learn in game. XD

You're right. Peasants couldn't read, which is why in the first game you have to go to a scribe, set aside a few in-game days and a bit of coin to have him teach you. At first words are jumbled, but there's a reading skill that slowly improves and dejumble the words as it rises. Theres even perks like for instance "in the flow" that makes it so that while you are reading (it takes time akin to the wait function in bethesda games) hunger and fatigue rises slower

So, the "peasents were illiterate" thing is a rather big misnomer, most people even back then could read and write they were not illiterate in the way that is considered today. If one could only read/write in the local langauge, that is to say if you couldn't ready/write in the diplomatic language (which was french for quite some time, until english took over) or latin in particular then you were considered illiterate.
They have stated there will be more diversity this time around, however it's not going to be in the sense that americans think of it... You lot (americans) tend to lump us all as "Caucasian" which we most definitely are not, causcaisns are specifically from the caucuses. Over here you have the 3 main groups, European, Slavs, Caucasian/turkic...
So by diversity, you will see mostly a mixture maybe from the urals, maybe some baltics, northern europeans (including the british isles), from iberian peninsula (portugal, spain, aragon), some turkic' and mediterranian maybe (but not many, pretty much sicily, sardina, italy, greece, malta, crete) which will most likely be traveling traders, some romani (but they will be traveling, not settled)... They will almost certainly be traders, caravans, knights, men-at-arms, mercenaries, refugees...
It was extremely difficult to travel back then, you don't know the local language you can't read the local language, customs or laws, there is no resources to teach you any of that prior to arrival and almost nobody will know your language, and you almost certainly wont have any local currency of any of the countries you'd need to travel through, and almost certainly wouldn't even be able to afford to do so regardless... Then there's the fact that you can't leave your lords lands without permission from your lord. Migrating was almost exclusively the privilege of the rich and mercantile class.

Well that was fun. You should really play the first game (on good PC with all DLCs and hardcore mode enabled). It was already a masterpiece, even if it does require some patience and open mind (e.g. lockpicking is hard until you level up, combat is hard until you train fully etc). And yeah you learn to read during the first game. Although you can finish it without ever learning it too.
