how many watts of consumption are displayed on the bluetti after the startup phase?

Timely question - I'm just finishing up a new video running the diesel heater for a full session on the bluetti. It was showing an average of 45w running the heater at 4hz. The runtime was just over 5 hours, including startup with about 7% life to spare on the EB3A.

@@TheGergeDIY thanks! Really looking forward for this video. Have bought the Bluetti EB70 and it can not run via 12v port directly. So either i use your solution or send it back and buy a car battery... would still like to use the bluetti bit if the conversion losses DC-AC-DC are to high i will likely send it back...

@@lukasschmidt4902 recommend a marine deep cycle battery if you go that route. See this video for how I run mine off a deep cycle battery. czcams.com/video/nYkAg9-2hmo/video.html

@@lukasschmidt4902 expect a loss of about 10 % every time You convert power. - an inverter uses around 50 watt, just to run!. Wire loss is really important, so You should try again with a heavy duty wire (AWG 12-16), and keep it as short as possible. It matters less, if You are running off AC. These rules goes for anything in Your boat, car, caravan etc. DC should allways be short runs, with as heavy wire, as You can make room for.

Have now tested it via an old xbox 360 power brick connected to the ac port of the bluetti. Takes between 18 Watts (Level1) and 42 Watts (Level6)
Will send back the bluetti tomorrow and have ordererd a 100 AH LiFePo4 battery which is currently on sale here. Nearly double the capacity for half the price ;) i guess power consumption will only be half without the conversion losses

Мужик, уменьши накал свечи в настройках до 3 и тогда он будет отлично работать от прикуривателя.

So how long do you think it can run a diesel heater safely ? Just curious cause I have that same power supply on my diesel heater and just received the BLUETTI eb3a but, it is too warm to test that now LoL

@MrHebekerl - that's a great question, and important to know as the heater needs to be shutdown correctly before the power goes out. I don't know the answer - but I will find out and post a video on it. It's too warm to run the heater for long here too, but I can get an idea based on the current draw. I'll post back in a few days or so.

@@TheGergeDIY awesome thank you. No rush since the fall didn’t start yet. But do have 5 diesel heaters and one of them is mobile in a case that would be perfect for this setup. I am subscribed so will see your new video one day coming through. Enjoy your day. Florian
