The easiest rule ya trick that clicks in the young minds is " simply replace/substitute the value of one unit with another unit" no multiplying factor or higher/lower unit funda required to be kept in mind

100 m = 100 (100 cm) . Here don't use the words multiply or divide. Just say replace 'm' with its value in 'cm' by keeping the original magnitude/number untouched
