I love the fact that they managed to make the transition from heavy dark rhythms to soul touching smooth melodies so smooth that nothing feels out of place. Fantastic piano playing, It’s amazing how beautiful it sounds.
The thing that makes this even more special is the fact that "A Little Piece of Heaven" (AKA Big Bear) started out on piano.

it actually amazes me how the left and right hand can be doing completely different things. what's going through that person's head? a human can only focus on one thing at once. i've been playing guitar for a little more than 2 years and this looks much more difficult than sweep picking, shredding, anything like that. piano covers like this stun me.
fluffy weiners hey man, practice makes perfect :) it also stumped me at first when playing piano, and I had to only play one hand at a time before very very slowly combining the two. The true trick is just developing muscle memory in say the left hand which usually holds the tempo, so that you don’t even have to think about what the left hand does, and can just sight read the right hand if need be. Eventually, both hands will memorize everything due to muscle memory.
I play both piano and guitar, and both are ridiculously difficult, but sweep picking is friggen impossible. Also, great job, this is fantastic!

I like the last key there, it's like the send off was a happy ending instead of a gloomy dark implications of the ending of the og song. The "cause I really always knew" portion and the last bit in the end was a good contrast to the dark melodies. I just love this song so much.
