Make the video how us, the novice, would have to center serve without the equipment you have. I get the concept. Thanks for putting out great content
like these 101 tips, it's important for everyone to know this
Love these quick little how to videos. Keep them coming. Starting to setup a little area in my garage to start learning how to tinker with my setup.
Videos like this are great. Maybe slow down a bit on the starts and stops. Kinda blew through how you finished the serving. Love the videos. They are super helpful
These videos are great, thanks. You look like you know what you're doing, so it's believable. 👍
It also depends on string material and strand count. You may need to go up or down in size 👍
The bow shop loves selling the supplies as I learn how to do things from these videos. Thank you.
Simple and easy demonstration!
Your string jig sure makes serving easy!
Very helpful tip. Would love to see Doubletake archery come out with a Halo nock that has the same throat as the AAE IP nocks.
love the quick how to videos. love learning more and how to do it myself just incase
Good information, as always! If you shoot Redding again next year, you’ll have to let me buy you a beer. Hope you enjoyed the shoot despite the weather.
Always learn something with your videos. Saw you shooting Stan Axis at TAC and had to go buy one. It was exactly what I was looking for. Quality thumb button with a wrist strap.
Nice. Short and sweet, yet informative.
Thank you. Nice topic. I might undertake this shortly.
Thank you Josh I'm learning!
I've been watching since you started, always great advice and I have fine tuned the way I set up my bow because of it , Cheers
I learn all the time from this channel and I love these types of videos
Spectacular I was wondering the best way to do this thank you for the information
Always always when I tune in I learn something you got the most educational videos thank you and god bless.
Absolutely I enjoyed this video cause I'm trying to learn everything I can from you so I appreciate these videos, I'm fixing to have to do mine for the first time, so God bless, like the shirt
Thanks for making these videos. Really helps us out when we are far away from a GGOD pro shop
great video, I have learned so much watching your videos and it has made me a better archer.
Thanks for the video. I like all of the info. I haven't shot in years and just got back in to shooting about a year ago. Everything has changed. Your info videos have really helped me figure things out. Thanks again.
Great concise explanation!
I really like the short info series keep going 👍🏻👍🏻

Great video thank you for the great info!! We all appreciate you and your knowledge greatly:)
Love watching your stuff learn so much to make me better at what I do n love.
I’m enjoying these how to videos. Has really peaked my confidence in getting into doing these things myself. Keep them coming. I’m going to attempt my own arrows first!
Thanks. Great video. Keep the info coming
I’ve been binging your and the rest of the boys channels. To say I have learned a lot is an understatement! I like all the videos, the shop along with the 3D shoots, it’s a lot of fun. One of these days I will grab a bow (other than the kids bow I play with) totally frustrating bit hey, it’s what ya got. Thanks for all the content and the education!
Thank for sharing all your knowledge God's Blessings
Great information as always. Thanks for the video.
Thanks , great 101 video.
Another informative video! Thanks
Been waiting for this one!
Dig it. Would love to see something like this once or twice a month in amongst your regular content. Keep it up, brother.
Great video and timing thank you. I haven’t seen anybody who has a very good video on controlling peep twist, rules of thumb…what to do what not to do.. especially after putting on a center serving
Great info and great video
Rocking the CoJo shirt! Good meeting you and the crew at TAC San Anton. I'm the guy that thanked you for the extended epsilon mount. Cheers!
As always, great info
Easy button, great work! Thanks
Always wanted to know a good serving size for the aae ip5 knocks since the factory serving size always felt too big so great vid and info
That’s an ideal serving. Thanks
The biggest problem I have when redoing center servings is getting them started. Great video though!
Great video. Theo’s is an awesome series. Can you do one explaining how to change your draw length, if you’re in between two different length mods
Keep'em coming
Nice video, great info
Great vid, NOW! Let’s get back to that broadhead/arrow build competition! I also have a suggestion for your broadhead testing, start with 22ga mild steel sheet metal and work your way up to 1/4 and see how well they penetrate and at what gage they break.
Another great video!
Keep um coming!!
you are a fool, but a super smart archery fool! haha Thank you for this video, I have a Lift and was wanting to get my serving redone b/c it felt snug when nocking an arrow. Now I know which serving to use when I go to get it done! 👍
Thanks, that was helpful!
Ya I need that set up.
Awesome video!
excellent video
Good content!!!! thanks !!
This was great, thank you! Any advice on what to do if my nock fit is too tight? Is the best option to take it off and start over?
Just blew up three pin nocks and cut my serving and I’m getting center serving re-done so this was right on time 😂
Thanks MFJJ that makes more sense
Josh I’d like to see u talk about limbs. Like for us guys at home that change out our own stuff. Like what percentage is safe on limbs for example 70lb bow at 77lbs that’s 10% on the limbs. I have a quest rogue that’s a 60lb bow but has been at 69 for years and has shot great! I just bought an alpha x 30 at 80lbs when I redo the strings and cables I wanna know what’s a safe number to go at!
Love the information did learn something that I never knew before and I’m looking to find out where I can find out someone to teach me how to maintain and do my own maintenance on my own bow comment if you can help me out
I make my strings with 22 strands of 452X and .019 Halo center serving. This gives me perfect nock fit. The lower strand count also makes a lighter, faster string.
Perfect, I have this problem with the halo lighted knocks. I switched back to the AAE knocks and instantly had better arrow flight out of the bow.
I'm having issues with the halo nocks as well, going to see if .016 serving fixes my issue. I've tried .018 and .014, too large and small respectively
Hey jj I was wondering if you could make a vf arrow build video / I tried calling to check an order but the phones were out of hours
What’s the name of that machine? And great video!
Can you do an Archery 101 on setting nock point?
Id like this for my bow ! Is this a service you offer ?
A+
Josh when would you have time to build me a left handed lift !!!!!
Wow, I mentioned nock fit in an email and here it is. Question: With all the nocks and lighted nocks available. How do you find out the throat size without buying every brand and measuring. It is not published. I can measure my string and serving with calipers but where is the nock dimension info found.
Justin jones what was the deal with the nufletch a.p.e tails
Just got my third Mathews with match strings 2 lifts and 1 title. All 3 have had terrible nock fit. Which leads to terrible groupings.
How do you like the Halo lighted nocks?
Well, you're a fool but this was a good video and surprisingly an issue I have run into recently!
This might be a stupid question but, I'm using a whisker biscuit on a cheaper bow (first compound) similar to Gearhead B20 and can put it in various positions and still have the arrow square so am I better off closer to the riser or the string? My thought is closer to riser as the extra distance means arrow is better supported and easier to align but once it leaves the string any movement could steer the arrow more easily due to extra time in the rest with roughly 4 inches between furthest back to furthest forward.
BTW I like the bow having shot it a few times but am now trying to set it up properly.
A question for MFJJ . Could a person use a small file to open knock just enough 🤔.
On the nock fit are you worried about the nock twisting
Can i set up an appointment with you to help me get my bow dailed in, i have recently baught a ultraview uv3 i need help with sight tape and the way my bow is shooting i live south of Missoula MT
But it needs to be tight enough to prevent side fumbling of the lunar waneshaft. In all seriousness, too loose can be an issue as well?
Good info mfjj
My nocks are way too tight after watching this.
Would love to see a video/series on setting up a home bow shop. I appreciate the encouragement for users to learn how to work on their own equipment, a little info on equipment needed and setup would be awesome.
