There are probably very minor differences in their mental states and each has about 1 advantage to the other but in a straight up fight probably Akato since he's stronger but knows not to underestimate his counterpart and vice versa ultimately Ayano can't rely on overpowering him and can't easily outsmart what is basically a male her with the same intelligence and will but I think Ayano does a better job at manipulation since just like her mom she can pull an innocent high school girl shtick where if Akato is caught he needs to catch a body before he's reported. We all know a guy can't pull what Ayano's mom did in her backstory.
