I am looking to buy the Squire or the Sidekick. Do you find a difference in security between them? Does the larger lid of the sidekick help or interfere more with staying closed under stress?
This is a debate we have had about these boxes. Primarily it will come down to your preference. There will be a slight benefit of the Sidekick, but the stood up Squire is a little more pleasing to me on the table. The choice will be yours and neither is a bad one 😊
hi, do you think this is a good box for yugioh cards or would there be too much wiggle room to protect the cards? thanks :)
These are designed for double sleeved standard size cards so will be large. Yugioh would fit but depends how much movement you mind. You'd get a large volume of yugioh cards 😅
i'll just try it out thanks :)@@DoubleSleeved
Shame about the capacity. Great looking box besides that. The monastery swiftspear flew out of the box pretty quick on the shake test!
We are trying to add additional information like this capacity thing as we get alot of questions about certain sleeves not fitting certain boxes. It is an endearing design for sure.
It's not called swiftspear for nothing 😆
@@DoubleSleeved foil thickness can also be an issue if you have a high amount.
Great point! Not many people rock a foil deck these days but hey, who knows.
Extra points if the box can fit 100 double sleeved foils 😄
FYI the Squire 100 XL+ fixes that capacity issue.
