- A friend just got this new M3 competition xdrive in Isle Of Man green! Even better, its the ultimate spec and a 50th anniversary model to celebrate the M performance division of BMW.
Fortunately the BMW dealer did not touch this car in any way other than some silicone tyre dressing so it was a perfect blank canvas to prepare for my favourite outdoor ceramic coating Synergy 2 by Infinity Wax.

sir you're car looks absolutely fantastic, I always thought black was the best color on a car especially if its paint corrected. But this might have just fun, also you can see the beautiful carbon fiber and all the contrast on the car. Beautiful bro.

Absolutely stunning car.. I've been trying to polish out swirls on my 2018 golf but to no avail polish splatters all over car and swirls still there gon a give up 🙄

It really will depend on not only the car but the pad and compound choice. Some cars have very hard paint and some have very soft. If you need some more detailed advice you can join us on the detail bay group: facebook.com/groups/406784153085491
Are you using a DA polisher or a rotary? Careful with overheating the pad on a rotary... Hopefully it's a DA polisher then just make sure the paint is free of any contaminants, wipe with panel wipe, then try a small test area till you find if you need a hard or softer cut.
To minimise polish going everywhere, don't turn the polisher on til it's on the panel... Spread the product at 20% speed then cut with about 80% of the power (I have a DAS Pro v2 and I spread compound on speed number 2, cut on speed 5 and then if I'm adding a glaze/sealant I'd run speed 3)

@@robmullan4395 thanks mate sounds complicated but guess when I've done it a Couple of times it gets easier ,I'm using just a mini rotary polisher £40 from ebay maybe I need to invest in a better one. Thanks again for the advice.
@@stevenhadler9747 yeah definitely get a cheap DA polisher... So much more forgiving. Rotary is best for super heavy cutting but experience is key... I wouldnt touch a rotary to do a full correction

So for this you are looking at around 450.00, it will vary on the size and condition of the vehicle though

The car has actually just been sold 2 weeks ago and replaced with an M3 CS. The coating was doing great, it should be as its only a year in really. But yeah nothing negative to report on that front.

With this coating it’s literally safe to use the car after 30 mins so ideal for outdoor application

Looks good my only call out is coating it outside it should be done inside.
This coating (synergy 2 by Infinity Wax) is designed to be used outside, it has a sacrificial polymer built in which essentially prevents failure.
