@corgipawz: Couldn't agree with you more. There's nothing wrong with not being able to sing something that was intentionally written to be near impossible to sing.
@colorguarddrummajor I didn't realize the point of a vocal competition/performance was to sing poorly in order to make fun of other singers. Thanks for the enlightenment. The rest of it is good, is it so far-fetched to believe that the soprano just can't sing that high?
Besides the fact that it's written in the score, it's not even in the right key so even if she did hit the note cleanly, she wouldn't be singing the Queen's correct note. So this is all a very moot point.
Wow -- that's far more mean spirited than I would have expected from voces8. They sing choral music beautifully and are wonderful musicians. As individual singers, though, they are not fit to lick the boots of the opera professionals they mock here. Although, of course, perhaps they were mocking opera students, which would be even more objectionable.
It truly looks like you're having fun on stage, and the audience definitely benefits from that joy! Bravisimo!!!
Anyone viewing 2024, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THAT FIRST SONG US
If you look at the reactions of the others (especially Paul) I think it was intentional - in their other performances I've heard it's sung the same.
最高。東京公演に行きたいけどお金がない。

@damienallday1
That's the Flower Duet, I believe.
what were the 2 first songs they sang
2nd - Queen of the night
that was hilarious!
Molto simpatici ed espressivi forse qualche nota calante... Ma ultra bravi...
With a little marketing, these guys could knock Il Divo off their perch, no?
@joluciodasilva She is very offkey at that high note. Almost half a note.

snow queen is immensely flat ... must ba a joke!

if you're going to sing flat on the high notes for the queen of the night aria, DON'T sing it!
