- This is my new Phun-toy, the Heavy Tank Destroyer.
features: powerful gun, 2 speed gearbox, heavy duty suspension, can climb hills up to 45° inclination, no script bs
The suspension is an advanced version from my first tank.
• Vultures Panzer
The gun is an modified version of my Phalanx.
• Phalanx Preview
Some bullets deflect or simply fly through the target because of the size of the bullets and their speed. This gun was originally designed to fire many bullets as fast as possible so the bullets had to be small and circular. Watch my Phalanx video (link above) to see it in action. Maybe I'll design a better gun in one of my next videos...

This is truly Phantastic. I've made many "tanks" in Phun, but this puts them all to shame! Great video.

sick ass suspension ya got there, although it could do to lower the damping of the springs to give a little more realistic oscilation and compression distance

you could make it better at climbing by making the caterpillars have +infinite friction and zero restitution or something =P but nice
good stuff mate only criticism would be to make the track tighter around the wheels :)

@0verlordQc it's because he allows a bit of looseness in the Chain and it is then slightly tighter at certain points in the tanks main body ;)
so i had no idea what algodoo was until i stumbled upon this video. I know what i'm messing around with after finals!
Cool tank and gearsystem! it seems that your tank stops first on obstacle and then climbs it, i would put first "wheel" on ground littlebit back and give front more weight so front powered wheel would instantly crab on terrain and start climbing. make your tracks more heavy so it doesnt go floppy, it works on me, or then delete some of balls on tracks. but still very good tank!

in the track you must increase the density of the chain! it will be better, whitout chain extension and you must also set the automatic brake for motors in the chain! ;) cool video!
try and repost :D it will be perfect! p.s. i've make a tank which climb 64° whit a very low CG
select the current objects, group them, then click on it once hold shift and scroll down to move it in front or back
You could have the main gun fire like a rail gun. :D
how do you make the chain so that they dont stretch like crazy?

you should have put little things on the whelles to grab the tread easier because it slipped at a few spots

i got the latest version of algodoo and it doesnt matter how hard i try i cant get chains to work.
they keep on going crazy after a few seconds and flying off the screen

@mapexblack tank destroyers dont have turrets, there fixed, theres not "heavy" one eaither
@Racecrafter1320 Just thought id point out that its a game, and that were playing it as such, only creating things as we see fit, meaning we dont have to make them realistic...
you could add spikes on the wheels to help traction >_>

Nice dude, all thought looked at controls and... num pad at side kinda makes it hard for me to use since i have to stop pressing everything hold Fn then press some other buttons for it... maybe you could have a laptop friendly version... otherwise its awesomeness is to much

Seems like you need to add some tensioners
why not just use realistic suspention on this thing, a simple arm on a 35 deg angle and a spring on the end as well as a wheel would do wonders as far as speed over obstacles is concerned, also, you might want to attempt a different type of tracks as well as something to keep tention on them. other than that gj
this is easy the best tank in phun if you ask me.

Its more a tank than a TD
actually, no vehicle (in phun at least) can climb a 45 degree angle for more than a few meters. the top usually creates too much weight and tips it backward. make a video of your tank climbing a 45 degree angled plane with no changes to the tank and you'll prove me wrong

@skillboy900 it is phun not incredibot =P phun and algodoo is much better (but the spring/suspension thing or whatever it is would be nice to have in phun wen making stuff like robotic arms by the way if anyone here is good at scripting can they then help me make a hand that reacts just like some other hand like a remote controlled thing controlled by a look a like would be a nice script i think and i don´t want to make it with boxes and hinges =P but could be a start )

Antasma1234, are you serious?! Real tanks don't have "stock turrets" like in WoT, they have a turret and done, if you want a new turret, then it would be a different desing...
Also its nothing like the Tank, Infantry Mk IV Churchil IV...
