- Paper Preservation: Pack papers in plastic to maintain acid-free integrity.
- Inspection Routine: Regularly check for fungus or mold, taking action if needed.
Blot Solution:
- Mix Acrylic Gloss and Matt Medium diluted with water.
- Apply Thin Wash as a base coat for temporary unblotting.
- Note: This is a temporary solution, not a regular practice.
Framing Advice:
- Use Bakelite framing behind artworks, avoiding hardboard for longevity.
