Neat result despite the time pressure of competition and unfriendly rounded rock shapes.

Often occurred to me that instead of sending young boys to prison to learn how to become professional criminals. We could have them doing this for 16 hours a day throughout the countryside.
They get to be punished by hard work for their lesser crimes and learn how to work hard.
At the very least they take part in something that will outlast them. Would probably be the first bit of permanence in their lives.
I can’t see to may repeat offenders after that.

For this reason I am a big fan of obligatory military service. If they did that for a few years after finishing school I think many would learn the value of hard work and the rewards that come with it before they got involved in crime.
As for things now. Here in the UK, (not sure about other places) many prison offenders that have been deemed low risk, low threat, are housed in open prisons and are put to work helping society. These will be non-violent crime inmates guilty of such things as tax evasion.

Good point but the army doesn’t want conscripts, can’t say I blame them either.

So how long would it take to build 1500 miles of wall, using 2.5 million tons of stone?!

Nice call... Look at those lowlife's. Farmers are a notoriously stingy, greedy, self-centered bags'o shit type of crowd! Lazy people, always looking for an easy way out. Call in some solid men, like your local trustworthy sheriff, or any 1 of the police, to show these jokers what it takes-

Liam Duff Fortunetly these hard working men are out actually doing work. Unlike other people who waste their time on the internet, taking great offense at some random comment on CZcams, and jumping to weird conclusions that the commentator thinks of them as "lowlifes" and not hard workers.
Here's the thing, it was meant as a less-than serious comment. My fault was not making it more of comical tone or adding "LOL"...which I hate doing. I understand now that someone could have read into it a different meaning. But I suggest not taking comments as an affront to others (or your) values and work ethic. You are going to waste time arguing and energy being bitter if that's all you do. What they are doing and do everyday is hard work and it's great that a bloke or team of blokes can have a friendly competition and recognition for the skill they possess.

Gerard Broderick the key words here are going to be "humor" & "facetious" Farmers are providers, & by nature hard workers.. The ever despicable police dept's of the world, are NOT known at this point in history, to be providers of anything, other than self fulfillment, or definition of the word bureaucracy. Not hard work. However.. I'm an actual stone mason. That's my 9-5. Or 6-3.. Whatever, & we happen to be by nature, weirdos! Play with mud, & a pile of rocks all day, every day, & you'll get a warped sense of humor. I promise-
