That was hilarious to watch. Corden's doing fine so far. It looks like CBS is giving him a decent budget to work with too. I still miss Craig though. He had the budget for a horse costume and a rhino head, but did great things with all of it.
As CBS have pointed-out, they're actually making the show for less money. Craig was on $8.5m a year. James is on a fraction of that.

aquablushgirl nah he's just scottish ;) i kid, that's just his persona, just like Dennis Leary's standup and tv persona (often thought in comedy circles to have been stolen from Bill Hicks after he died, though I can't say to the veracity of that statement) i could be wrong but when he talked about his alcoholism and his want to commit suicide on christmas i would find it odd that he was actually that egoistic, perhaps that persona developed as a way to fight the depression and sadness he felt in reality. just my two cents

They are waaaaaaaaayyy way past this, Austin is presumed dead at the moment which he isn't. Ah heck, Kelly isn't dead either.
The whole set up was almost certainly fake.

Not unlikely at all; Late Late Show's production offices are right next to Y&R's on the third floor of the west part of Television City, where both shows tape; Y&R is on two stages, 41 & 43; LLS is on the new stage in the Annex; bold & beautiful and the price is right are across the hall from Y&R in 31 & 33, respectively; and given their production office proximity, LLS and Y&R could no doubt share a printer ....
They have to keep up with storylines and probably refer back to specific scenes. So much more goes into these soaps 🧼 than we realize
