Lada Niva in DEEP SNOW! Can this 4x4 handle it?!

We go with our Lada Niva 4x4 to a higher area in the Eifel. A lot of snow fell last night so we hope to see even larger amounts of snow there. This works! The large amount of snow surprises us, we have a lot of fun with the lada in a large parking lot and take a short walk at the ski area. Unfortunately I don't have my snow boots on. There are many snowplows working to clear the road, nevertheless we drive on beautiful snow-covered winding roads through the forest area enjoying this surprising change of weather to the fullest! Wir Fahren mit unserem Lada Niva 4x4 in ein höher gelegenes Gebiet in der Eifel. Letzte Nacht ist viel Schnee gefallen, also hoffen wir, dort noch größere Schneemengen zu sehen. Das funktioniert! Die große Schneemenge überrascht uns, wir haben viel Spaß mit dem Lada auf einem großen Parkplatz und machen einen kleinen Spaziergang am Skigebiet. Leider habe ich meine Schneeschuhe nicht an. Viele Schneepflüge arbeiten, um die Straße zu räumen, trotzdem fahren wir auf wunderschönen verschneiten Serpentinenstraßen durch das Waldgebiet und genießen diesen überraschenden Wetterwechsel in vollen Zügen! I'm here to see the Lada Niva, but I must say that the quality level of the video footage is really excellent. The shooting among the snow-covered trees is really beautiful and there is a dreamlike atmosphere with the desert and silent, sky area at 1:58 - 2:14. Such a beautiful weather and landscapes! I used to be a Niva owner and i loved to drive in any conditions. The only thing sad about color pallete that doesn't have some bright colours
Niva is always an adventure. We love the camouflage colour's but there are not so many of them.

There is never enough snow. ❄️ 😁 But we don't live at the North Pole and the snow we get is unfortunately less than years ago. Of course it depends very much on where you live and what you are used to.
Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't the sales of this car discontinued in the EU due to emission legislation?
About, yes. I understood that a German company imports about 1000 Ladas per year and then adapts the exhaust system itself to reach the emission requirements. These Ladas are distributed among the sellers in Germany, so it is still possible to purchase a new Lada.
This is something I read online, don't know if it goes that way but it seems the only way it would be possible.
