In this video is a list of 5 basketball shoes that I DO NOT recommend buying, for certain reasons / playing styles / foot shapes:
Adidas Trae Young 2 - comfort, materials
Nike Kyrie Flytrap 6 - traction, cushioning & impact protection
Air Jordan 37 - materials, padding, stiffness
Puma Rise Nitro - weight, lacing functionality
361 Degrees SD 1 (DVD 1) - upper flexibility
Others: Wade 808 2 Ultra “Oxygen” - traction on dust, etc.

What were the shoes that did NOT work well for you recently?
Hated the DON Issue 3 cushion, even though I got them for a steal lol
Trae young 1, was very disappointing. I didn't bother with the 2
the 36 was good when it didnt make me feel pain but now walking in them i need slides after
Zion 2s destroyed my feet, pretty sold after that, but painful break in for me and a little dead in the forefoot

i like the trae 2, even tho they're hard to put on it's my favorite adidas shoe. I don't really like the harden 7 because they heat up too much and feel heavy on foot.

Got the undefeated 37 for $128 + tax in Nike’s last sale. That was a good pick up.

I have Kyrie flytrap VI and for my feet they are pretty comfortable. They have adequate cushioning, decent traction and great support overall while playing basketball. However the only thing that may be a problem is what Tommy also said when u land they may feel a little heavy and as if ur feet have nothing under them but for a budget shoe i dont got much complaints.

Hey. I’d say the Kyrie Low 5 has better traction. GT Cut 2 at the very least will take a long break in time.
Trae Young 2 is sooooo good imo
I have the black puma rise nitro and while they are heavy and cushion is stiff, i like the lockdown and comfort in the materials. Pumas run .5 size small so luckily i .5 sized up, they are still snug. But i honestly like playing in them, that colorway is so dope.

like reebok have recently realised the basketball version of their "Reebook question" i love there design and all but do you know its performance( outdoor court) also i am getting them for just 80 $ in my country.

I am playing basketball in an outside court and I don’t know which shoe to buy i want them to be light,look good and have a good price right now i am looking for the giannis immortality 2 that i found on sale and i don’t know if this is a good option.Lastly what size do you recommend me buying i wear size 8 on sneakers should i buy a 9 or an 8 cause there is no 8,5?
I like the trae young 2's and Harden 7's.
From my personal experience, the trae 2 performed amazingly, i think its because of my flat foot, but it was very comfortable and near perfect for me, but this is my experience.
I got the gt cut 2 a half size up and they’re still tight and narrow😭. I have flat feet and my feet slide into the side wall and hurt. I loved the gt cut 1 cuz my foot would barely move in those

harden 7 is tuff ima shifty guard and it doesn’t even feel heavy .. it just gets hot after playing 2 games a day in a aau tourney

The Trae young 2s were on sale for like 80 dollars Canadian and I was really tempted to get them, but I got the dame certified for 60 dollars cad bc it was a pain to put on😂. Though the Trae 2s cushion is def way better than dame certified😅

Idk if anyone else has this problem but i have heel slippage on the lebron 20's on the ASW colorway the shoe feels really tight but somehow my heel slips
Materials on different colorways vary, that might be the issue.
Harden vol.7 does not work for me unfortunately. I have slightly flat feet and experiences pain due to lack of arch support, and feel very tired. Stark difference as soon as I put on shoes with better cushioning like MB.02, Lebron 20, KD15.
the weird things my feet doesn’t work when i use kd 14. cause its flat and i have a wide feet, and when i try harden vol 7 its really good and better than kd 14 and flytrap 6 for me
could you make a list of the best shoes in 2023?
I play for fun, but still play to win and perform well. A shoe can make such a huge difference Tommy. Lately the indor court I been playing it's been dusty, so I noticed TRC blaze court from Puma have an amazing tractor regardless of dust as well as the Lebron 20's not as good but still good. I tried those Kyrie in store and I agree 100% with you. Even the Nike impact 3 even feels better than those. Thanks for sharing. I haven't played in the Zion 2 yet, I know you mentioned they have good traction as well.

All feet are different but for my feet the jordan 37 regular which were just on sale for 89.99 at dicks sporting goods are best shoe ive worn for basketball and at 99.99 jow r still a steal in my opinion.. got the 37 low in nothin but net colorway but the size 13 ran super small and not sure if i want to go full size up to 14 but ive also really loved playin in the zion 2 i tthink those r one of most underrated bball shoes in a long time amd also recently scored the kd14 which i also love. But back to regular 37 i can def see from material why some dont like em but again for my feet theyre phenomenal. I think shoes are a lot like earbuds lol. Sony xm4 some might love.. me i fn hate em absolute junk for their price or all the different pairs some fit others and dont fit me lol

I personally wouldn’t recommend it for outdoor use.

Also wouldn’t know how each specific colorway or version would have differed. The best shoes for outdoors I have a video on that, otherwise I might not be of much help sorry.

Obviously the Lebron 19 is the BEST of the Lebron signature shoe line. It is SO light weight the traction is top teir and materials are so breathable would definitely cop
