It's crazy, this is literally how modern astronomy works. The entirety of the night sky is 360 degrees of vision. Telescopes focus on a percent of a percent of a percent of that field of vision, look at it for a long time so the dim light can leave an impact on the camera, and then we can see stars from billions of lightyears away. You did the same exact thing with that poppy.

I understand how fov works now. Say you have a circle around you. If you are set to 90 fov, you see 90 out of the 360 degrees of that circle. 360Fov is impossible to imagine because it would be seeing all the way around. 180 is just perfect peripheral vision. This makes the technology that fundy was using inaccurate once he got to 180 and 0.
You see nothing at 0 and multiples of 180 (π) because the relationship between the angle and scaling is tan(x/2). That means the scaling is 0 at all multiples of 2π (360 degrees), and infinity at all odd multiples of π (-180, 180, 540 and so on). In both cases, nothing can be rendered.
That's how zoom in every game works. Ever played with a sniper rifle in a video game? That's how it works. In some games, you can actually kind of cheat by toggling your fov lower and higher to get easier shots. I've done it, I'm not proud of it, but I have.
My suggestion is to make a mod where every block is a different block For example: Stone=TNT, Diamond=Netherite, Coal=Diamond, Grass/Dirt= Obsidion, etc, then invite someone to play and they're gonna be like, "What the...?"
Ive done this, when approaching 180, your vision digs into the surrounding blocks, you can see an example of this when he fell off into the water and you could see into the block, its like that, but much worse, fov is the amount of degrees you are able to see, so seeing 0.00000001 degrees will give you practically nothing

@@madpancake9891 it doesn't, but with optifine you can zoom in with whatever key you set the optifine zoom as. press and hold and it zooms in at wherever you're looking at.
For closer explanation, imagine it all as a triangle, where side A is stuff that is supposed to be visible on your screen and angle Alpha is your set FOV. Sides B and C will always be the same in ratio and so will be angles Beta and Gamma. The whole reason it is called Field of View, is that your increasing angle Alpha also mathematically increases the size of side A, since B and C will always be same in ration. When the side increases, there is more stuff to show. Now, because your monitor is not actively increasing and decreasing in size, your game works around and zooms in or out, to make all rendered stuff that is supposed to be visible actually visible. That is why higher FOV zooms out, but lower FOV zooms in. That is also a reason why 180° and 0° do not work, because there is not a mathematical way to construct side A and a triangle with such angles.

Maybe an idea: Swap all the mobs, so the Creepers behave like fish, Cows have parrot mechanics, Witches blow up like Creepers, and the Ender Dragon is like a pig. Etc.
But, randomise it so that every time you DIE the mobs swap and suddenly you have to figure out which ones are the hostile ones again. So for example if the creeper looked like a villager before you died, then it would take on a different form when you respawned.
