- All Mrs Brown wants is a nice, peaceful Christmas, but the family have other ideas! Cathy’s decided to cook Christmas dinner for the first time ever, a sentimental decoration has gone missing, and there's a surprise dinner guest, all of which have the potential to ruin Agnes’s quiet Christmas.

Last year was my first Christmas without my grandparents, and the last scene made me ugly cry because I miss holidays like that with my grandparents. And Mrs brown reminds me of my grand ma.who just passed in August of lad year.

This is coming from Canada. Just want you to know how much we all enjoy your shows. This swim was very special to me as silent night was sung. I remember my good friend who head zebra policy would always have tears when he heard silent night I took care of him for about 27 years he was like my son. I loved him so much he passed away May 2023. I know probably no one will ever read this, but I just had to put it in, the show certainly touched my heart. Take care everyone.

I think it showed 100% love / understanding & compassion regarding dementia / Alzheimer's. I cared for my mother & father who both had Alzheimer's xxxxxx the show was wonderful.

They are all really good, even when they get their line's wrong and have to do it again. The best laugh at Christmas time. Keep them coming the funniest programme on the television. Fantastic.

Regarding the upside down Christmas tree: in 1970, my family went to Little Rock, Arkansas (USA), to spend Christmas with family there; on Christmas Eve, we rode around to look at Christmas decorations. The highlight of the tour was a house where, in the big picture window, was an upside down Christmas tree; my mother's cousin Marie leaned over and whispered to my mother, "The man who lives there is a " decorator, you know..." I immediately had a few questions, but my mother said, "" Santa doesn't bring toys to little boys who ask too many questions..." Later, Cousin Marie tried to explain that it just meant the man was "artistic." Ah, childhood! No wonder I am so confused about Christmas trees, decorators, creativity and, well just about everything really..😊

I watched this yesterday, a few hours after my grandma passed away - and it was as beautiful as it was funny. I had to get up and cry for a while after it was over. Thank you for sharing this.

What a beautiful Christmas Show. I cried near the end when Father Damien's Mother started to sing but when the upside-down tree fell on Agnes i laughed so hard through my tears. This Christmas episode really showed us what Christmas is all about. Family and love.

I also lost my 55 year old husband last June😭😭💔. His family and mine made the holidays as good for me as possible but Christmas night I lost it. I couldn’t hold on any more😢
My heart goes out to both of you. ❤
We lost our dad almost 23 years ago when he was only 57.
And no matter how many years have gone by since then, Christmas has never fully been the same for us. Particularly for our Mum.
There just seems to be a bit of emptiness there that will never be filled.
All we can do is just make the best of the day though, and try to make some more memories to hold onto and cherish for the future, whatever that may hold.

This epesode had a beautiful message. The humane killing part is how I respond to people. You can't kill something humanely, you're killing it in the end. But it is that hectic your anyone who's reading it and I've done Sunday dinners for myself and they're hectic when you're making multiple things at once. It was worth it.
But the ending was beautiful as our memories are the most rewarding gift we can keep. And as someone who loves to spend every Christmas home with his family enjoying a nice meal. That's all I need, those memories.

I'm not supposed to cry at Mrs Brown's Boy, but I've sobbed all the way through. Goodness, it's plucked my heartstrings so much, I'm surprised that they didn't snap!
I've no family left, so this was a little bit of a family Christmas (albeit in April) for me.
My first Christmas without family (2010) was possibly the only time that I had ever been lonely. I sat flicking from programme to programme on television, but felt worse. Then I found Mrs Brown's Boys. I laughed until I ached. Tears ran down my cheeks, and for the first time in months, they were not tears of sorrow. It did something to me. I started to turn away from my grief and returned to life.

That was one of the most beautiful shows I have ever seen .It was beautiful written with laughter,and love of how important family is and to have a loved one who has dementia.We all know that dementia gives our loved ones bits and pieces of the life they once livedand then at that one hope of happiness the disease allows them to give their loved ones one more glimpse of what it was like to have them back .Her singing at the end made me gasp with tears of joy it felt so real as if I was in that kitchen with all of you. ❤❤❤❤It was beautifully done thank from the bottom of my heart ❤❤❤❤❤
