My Grandpa says " Widby is the only one we've had that can change a game for you like those boys". As soon as I saw Widby and punting written together I recalled that conversation. He played in a bowl game (the Bluebonnet Bowl I believe) in Texas and the Sugar Classic basketball game in the same day. He could have also flown the plane. It's impossible to accomplish that these days....4 sports..... Everything Ron Widby did was successful. Great teams back then. Ask Philip Fulmer, who Ron also played with.
