The Graduate is also my fave ; in my opinion the year with the best five nominees is 1975 (one flew... the best one) ; my favourite oscar "duels" are in 1974 The Godfather Part II - Chinatown and in 2007 There Will Be Blood - No Country for Old Men.
Also 1994 was great (Pulp my fave)

Dr Doolittle was not nominated in any of the acting or director categories. How the hell did it get a Best Picture nomination?

This video really make me feel bad. Not because is awful, its great by the way and the music jaja excellent :D... What i try to say is that the academy award for best actor, actress ans suppporting acrtess where robbed. The cast of the Graduate should have won : Anne Bancrfot, Dustin Hoffman and Katharine Ross. And for best picture, also The Graduate. Great year of movie, great nominations, AWFUL CHOICES!!
