On my return from #AdamCFest, which was fortunately a great success, I started running into a few issues, beginning with a break down in my MGB! After then the day just got more and more difficult as I tried to join the Universal Classic Cars Jubilee parade and change the look of my 350Z...

Hi Adam try using some wd40 on a cloth on those marks it should get them out as its left over glue residue.

Grab some “sticky stuff remover” from Halfords. It’s made for exactly this. Car looks great in yellow.
Adam C you have just given me massive memories with that traffic light air freshener wow 🤣🤣 my grandad basically raised me and had some beautiful classic cars, same as your MG, ford 8, lanchester etc etc and he alwaysssss had those air fresheners. I sound like an absolute melt but that has genuinely just put a little tear in my eye. I can smell the memories 🥹🥹

WD40 will get rid of any glue residue mate. I had to use that when I got my RX8 because it had two giant EU stickers on the rear

Throttle cable snapped in my first car, VW Beetle held together with rust. I just taped open carb about halfway with some gaffer tape and that got me home! Was really fun sittin at red lights with the engine racing 😄

Throttle cable snapped = get to the carburettor and adjust the idle speed screw so the engine idles at 4000 rpm or so, then you can drive it to your destination. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Light machine polish will even off the top surface of the wrap, just make sure you use 800 RPM or so as to not rip the wrap.

Choc block electrical connectors are a good thing to always carry in the car for this type of breakdown
Use some mr sheen to get the residue off works sweet 👌🏻👊🏻
Isopropyl alcohol will get that off no problem. Just then use a good amount of soapy water after, then give the wrap a polish.. job done

Sorry that you had such 'mixed fortunes' that day , Adam . But , full marks as you were looking back and seeing it could have been a lot worse . You're normally so upbeat , I was getting concerned . You've got Chloe and Roxy . They'll soon sort you out ! Love your Hot Wheels and it's history . I'd offer to customize it for you , but I get your connection with it . Apart from 1:18 Muscle cars and street rods , I have a growing collection of H/W JDM . They're getting better and better . Have you seen their 22b Scoobie or recent Hondas ?

Big Bird should be the mascot.
Wipe it down with Wax and Grease Remover, found at automotive paint stores, that will remove the glue residue from the decals.
As mentioned in the video, I've tried that twice already to no avail.

that color and dir velgen are really good together now lower it a bit and dir is ready

The left over adhesive can be removed using a product called Goo Gone. Not sure if this product is available in the UK though...

Break cleaner should do the job spray a little bit on a soft cloth and rub in circles not too hard though 👍

The unknown car at the start was, I believe, a fairthorpe
5 mins with a decent tar and glue will shift it, get it in the shade, let it sit on the areas for a good 3-5 mins, then wipe the residue off…..👍🇮🇲

buy a bottle of goo gone if they sell it in the uk, it'll take those goo off..
Acetone (pink nail polish remover) normally works very well for removing glue residue left from signage etc on paint, assume it would be fine on a wrap if you don't rub too hard.

Depends on the speed. Traffic generally slows down for lights & a roundabout so it'd be unlikely to be a fast incident
