- We built this ZR1 to be a reliable blast on the street. This car has incredible power that throws you back in your seat, while still being comfortable and retaining all of its amenities. The customer also requested a burble tune, which is exactly what we gave him! Now he can have a little fun when he is just cruising around. That burble tune pops so loud, it sounds like it's going to tear the mufflers to pieces! Definitely one of our more favorite recent builds!
Time for your decal on the car. Nice job.
Very strong car.. 🇺🇸👍
What an amazing machine. I smile at all the sounds except for the microwave popcorn on decel. You guys are wizards.
Amazing car, what an awesome platform to work from. You guys do awesome work as Street Speed 717 shares your craftsmanship and expertise. LMR is setting the standards as always!!!
Glad to see more vlogs from u guys. Keep them coming
Thanks, we will try and post 1-2 a week 👊🏻
Curious to know if you can build an engine like that without the popping on decel?
@@LateModelRacecraft is it foor sell
Great looking and running car, I would love to have a ZR1, keep up the good work guys You Rock. Outlaw
Burble tune on a 1,000hp car?!? Why? Shouldn’t a 1,000hp car make all the right sounds without a burble tune. I thought burble tunes were for slow cars so they could sound fast lol.
Sounds like the standard tune for the local sti fanboys
This burble tune trend is just terrible. Doesn't sound good on anything. What happen to the days of just natural well tuned engine sounds. There was always backfire and such with v8's.
I think whoever wanted that burble noise was thing about the old Fox body style mustang that had what was it called the H pipe pop to it. That back in the day sounded awesome. It was the perfect sound. I hate to say it about that Corvette, but that burble sounded like shit. He was not joking about it sounding like a popcorn maker. Dont get me wrong. We all like a little pop but that was overkill. I got a new SS CAMARO YELLOW AND BLACK.YEP. BUMBLEBEE FROM TRANFORMERS. I HAVE NOT DONE NO EXHAUST OR ANY UPGRADES YET. I CANT BECAUSE ITS STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND KNOWING MY LUCK,SOMETHING WOULD GO WRONG BUT I GOT GREAT CONNECTIONS. I HAVE AN UNCLE THATS HAD HIS BODY SHOP FOR 30YEARS OR SO AND ONE OF MY COUSINS WHO JUST RECENTLY MOVED HIS SHOP TO THE CITY I LIVE IN. MY COUSIN SAID THERE IS A WAY HE CAN DO MY EXHAUST AND IT NOT VOID THE WARRANTY. HE EXPLAINED HOW BUT I WAS LOST.
13:55 the burble would drive me nuts. Sounds like a driveshaft is banging against the floor board lol. Car and power is insane though 👍🏻
@@lovinhouse374 that sounds terrible! My Camaro sounds better from just a muffler delete. This sounds like a lose part rattling under the car
great sounding exhaust and cam ruined by the customers request for a burble tune. just don't understand the obsession with it. I think it sounds terrible
Agreed. It totally ruins it. I stopped watching it was so obnoxious
The nice thing with our burble tune is you can shut it off at any time. The car only burbles if you're in manual mode. If your driving in auto it won't do it at all. It's not like the car is stuck in burble mode forever.
Makes you think that the owners truck is riding low in the rear with glass packs🏳️🌈
It sounds like he's riding over a bunch of those pops you throw on the floor 😂
Late Model Racecraft well what if you want to drive in manual mode and not have the burble? It doesn’t really turn it off so to speak it’s just that automatic will upshift so it doesn’t do that. I guess people know what they’re getting into when they ask for the burble tune. It’s not for me, not that I could ever afford a c7 zr1 anyway 😂.
my jaw is on the floor if i ever get the money i will find me a ZR1 and have yall build it just like that. sounds like fireworks out the back
Burbles used to be awesome to me because it told you something about the car. But now it's been over embellished and made into an almost-laughable parody of what it originally meant by those who use it exclusively as a fashion accessory. I have zero issues with people doing what they want and fully enjoying it, but as a fan of the original burble sounds, I have my own opinions about 30-second long shotgun burbles. :)
This is my favorite car, i like it !
You guys are awesome! Great way to test a car after a serious upgrade. Keep it boys
Great work love the burble omg love that
I made a burble tune yesterday for my ZL1 and can see the fun, but I think it will drive me nuts after a while. Maybe I'll advance the timing +5 to make it less aggressive.
Love the channel. Quality work and we get to see the car in action when it’s done. Other channels I’ve been following make you lose interest before the build is done.
Love everything but the Burble tune.
Agreed. Not a fan of the Burble tune.
Yea, mine crackles a little bit this would be annoying to me after awhile
@@6StringPsychedelic yes a little bit is good. Like the way it comes from the factory. This is just too much. Not only does it destroy these awesome factory dual mode mufflers which is priceless to me in my z06. If you still have cats it destroys them too.
The burbles are so obnoxious 😂
The burble just reminds everyone there is an LS around.
Besides the disgruntled worker you guys to say excellent job in modifying vettes. keep up the work, love those Wheels.
you would be the same way if u were slinging wrenches all day sweating your balls off building cars all day and your clean shop co workers come over asking you stupid questions
I wish you guys were closer! The shop that tuned my c6 couldn’t get anything right, claimed 481whp, and it runs pig rich! Fbo, cam, valve spring ls2. Their fudged dyno numbers are the scariest part.
I'd love to get that burble tune but VA is so strict I'd probably get pulled for it. Love your vids.
Move to TN man.You don't have to worry about that crap.Ive got a built Camaro that is loud as hell with a big cam and 11.5 to 1 compression with headers and 3 inch Borla with no cats and the cops love it where I live.
Love the zr1 and the content 👌
My god that burbling and popping is atrocious!! It would drive me insane. Absolutely amazing that people actually request that. Wow.
You can control it. By putting it in D so it won’t pop as much. If you in Manual it pops a lot
I think the same. It’s cool to a point it it gets obnoxious quick. StreetSpeed717 has this and on camera audio, it’s kind of annoying after a bit. It would be fun for a few days and get old after that for me. A little burble would be cool but this is stupid. It reminds me of the fake exhaust sound some turbo cars pump through their speakers
It’s a 120-140 grand car before they paid for all this I’m sure u only pull out your 1,000 horsepower corvette one or two times a month lol
@@richardmahoney9415 exactly....
Thinking the same thing. Cool for about 5 minutes and the just annoying. I think I’d tone that down a bit but everything else perfect IMO.
This makes my C7 Stingray look like a Honda!😂
A fast Honda. Hahai
Jeez this thing is a monster
So can't the burble tune washout a cylinder, or leave fuel in the oil? Seems it would decrease longevity of engine to me.
I can't stand burble tunes!
But if it loses a cylinder then it’ll sound REAL choppy and badass so win win!
Gotta love cam lope
Sounds awesome at idle! 💪
@@LateModelRacecraft Damn right, gotta see the C8 with this setup!
I have burple tune. I did it on my TBSS. It’s fantastic. My wife hates it but that’s why I bought her own car.
What a G, good for you man I’m happy for you 💪🏼, happy wife happy life
I love pops and crackles from the exhaust but this one and alot of the bmw boys go waaaaay overboard with it.
What gets me is the Lingenfelter header on the front windshield....must have been another customer that is fed up with their BS and decided to take their car to a REAL tuner that knows what they're doing!
Take that banner off and put lmr !
Its John Lingenfelter's car. He wanted to be able to go fast.
vervi1jw1 😂🤫
That's just a Lingenfelter Decal, it's not a true Lingenfelter Build. A true build will have a Chrome Fender Badge and a plate in the engine compartment. A true build by Lingenfelter increases in value and the car will have a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on the build. If you want to see a true build, stop by my channel. See my Lingenfelter Built LS7 4th Gen Camaro. The car is the only one in existence officially built by Lingenfelter, the car has been appraised twice at 60k and can be insured for just under 60k since insurance companies will not fully cover built one off cars. It has an plate in the engine bay and their painter painted Lingenfelter on the hood, he's the only one with their stencil to do so. The window decals are sold to customers that typically buy some parts from them to install themselves, some buy crate motors. But the car is not a Lingenfelter unless it was built by them. The builds come with a COA and the VIN number is registered. Lingenfelter built vehicles can be show cars or race cars. They will build you whatever you want. Look for my car on my channel, scroll back on the uploads it's there. My car is also on the Lingenfelter CZcams Channel featured in Dyno Videos. They were very happy to get a chance to build a 4th Gen Camaro as they are usually working on the newer Camaros and Vettes etc. LMR knows who Lingenfelter is, they are pioneers in the industry. Car guys know what a true Lingenfelter build is and is capable of. They would've done whatever I wish to my Camaro, my build is what I envisioned for the car. I could've had them do a twin turbo on top of the LS7, but I wanted NA 11.5:1 Compression. The one thing they would not have done was to cut the cowl to install a Magnuson Supercharger, that would have needed to be done someplace else, then they would have installed the engine and completed the build if I went that route. I could've just put a racing LS7 in the car with 800hp.. 13:1 compression if I wanted to, built with Head Studs. They even have a new 454 LS7 Racing Build now. My car was built to be what I envisioned a 4th Gen Camaro should've been from factory. A modern day classic look. John is no longer with us, he was killed in a drag racing accident in 2002, the company is owned by Ken Lingenfelter now. But anyways LMR does great work, they also know this car was not a true Lingenfelter Car as they addressed someone else in this comment section below, stating the car was stock with only a badge. Like I said, people know the reputation of Lingenfelter and they will often times badge their cars as one, but upon close inspection anyone can find out if the car is a real build or not. Speed is money, it takes money to go fast. But you can also spend that money and create an investment, that's what I chose to do with the Camaro. Racing is a business because it takes money to go fast, money to keep the engine refreshed and you need to win races to stay in business. But you can also build a fast car that can be sold at auctions, or taken to big car shows where people can make offers on them. Then you go build another car.. enjoy it for a while.. auction it etc. On the side you can have a dedicated race car, while making money with the collectible cars as well. John Lingenfelter is known for having some of the baddest most radical builds, all you have to do some research.. you can find videos of the Vettes he was building over the years, how he had the first 4th Gen Firebirds and Firehawks going over 200mph ..all motor back in the day. They could only answer with Vortech Superchargers, John was like.. whatever.. I'll just throw a Supercharger on top of my 383.
UnsilentD4N that’s funny because I have a real Lingenfelter C7 Zo6 and I actually told them I didn’t want the corny chrome badges. I have also taken my car too another shop for more power. Lingenfelter is great but just over priced and there tunes are very safe and over priced. LMR , Vegence racing, and 21 CenturyMuscle are all great shops that can take a Lingenfelter or Calloway vette to the next level. Plus, now a days no one even cares about Lingenfelter/ Calloway vettes any more. When I get my C8 Zo6 I will definitely not waste my time with a Lingenfelter package. John Lingenfelter was awesome but, just over priced now days and you are paying for badges and cheap Certificates. Just my opinion brother. Have a good one.
Millionaire Mind Set My car build wasn’t a package, it was a custom build. It’s a one off, the only Lingenfelter Built LS7 4Th Gen Camaro in existence. The suspension, rear end and gearing were all changed. The car appraised at over 60k and can be insured for 50k. They would’ve done whatever I wanted, but I wanted a high compression, all motor build. If I wanted a racing LS7 with 13:1 compression, head studs etc .. I could’ve chose that. I could’ve had a 454 LSX but the weight addition made no sense over the LS7. I could’ve asked for twin turbos on original LS1 that was swapped out, or I could’ve had the car sent to get the cowl cut at a different shop, to then have Lingenfelter put a Magnuson Super Charger on the LS7. I didn’t want any of that. I wanted the car to have a built, blue printed 11.5:1 compression LS7.
Speed is always money, the faster you want to go, the more you spend. But it’s also important to see where your invested money would best be spent. When you build them yourself, they don’t sell well. It can be done yourself or by other shops that offer no warranties or COA’s, but is the car going to race to win and make back that investment? Or is it a street race car for races in Mexico for no money? Nowadays content creators can make money racing fully built cars and simply creating content day in and day out with their cars. So we are definitely in different times. It is a matter of opinion on what shops people go with, but at the end of the day speed costs money.. and it costs money to make money. You either race em for money or flip them for profit. For me building one up and letting it sit is like having a semi sitting .. it only makes money hauling goods back and forth.
Now line up next to the bald eagle machine!
How are you NOT getting tickets running out on the roads at 130+ mph all the time?
To damn sweet!!!
Burble omg love it
Badass! I love it
Why is the technician so pissed?
These videos = his payday.
You guys keep up the good work
10:28 Wwwwooooooooooo
😍😍😍 O, Corvette!!! 😍😍😍
the last corvette
I promise every time i hear an idle like that its horses galloping 😩 or like dragon dog that playing fetch 🤷🏾♂️
Take those damn "Lingenfelter" stickers off and plaster that car with LMR.
Outstanding work by LMR, as usual. But why some customers want the shit burble sound is beyond me. Makes it sound like the car is f*cked up. Embarrassing in traffic.
So is this Vette a 3 second zero to 60? Very fast AND loud. Cool!
Bad Ass Corvette ZR1.
112mm throttle body nice💯🔥
Wow!!!
Badass!!
Rocket ship 👍
Is the green filter better than the k&n filter
When dotted lines go solid...
why he so mad lmao
bubble tuning a m6 lt4 is not advisable correct? i was told that you have to disable the decel fuel cut off which would also disable the decel engine braking.
Hope it doesn't have cats, dumping fuel burble tune, car is still badass what are IATs on 93 after a few hard pulls just curious.. that ZR1 is a bad ass car!!!
Sounds like is cooking popcorn, lmao 🤣
Bro was tuning this a Nintendo switch lol
What kind of price tag do you have for a twin turbo kit installed by you on a C-8 corvette, and what kind of wheel HP will it produce on the dyno. Thanks
This one sounds like a Beast !. I am new to the channel..but I do love your shops work. Dan is an artist. I came from SS117, just an FYI Oh, and for the record, I drive a 2020 Ford Explorer ST twin turbo..making 400 horse stock. Not the fastest, but it rocks for me. I am just and old fart, but I like to rock N' roll !!
Man i let a shop hook up my vette up and it sounds and runs greats. Its just at night whenever i drive it to work (24 miles) if i stay at a consistent 65-70 the temp tack will drop to 0 (20 miles in)If I throttle 60-95 the tack will activate. If i step on the gas early on during my trip to work everything stays good. Any advice? Its a C7 stingray
Normally silver-painted wheels would make my skin crawl on a Corvette but the ZR1 wheels look really good "non-black". Hmmm...
if you put the electric assist on the rear end ,you could get bigger numbers
Burble sounds good but it's a bit too much. Almost like an exaggeration in my opinion. I like the way it burbles from the factory. Have you guys ever got pulled over doing these pulls? I've always wondered lol.
I love this car... Maybe I’m old but the burble tune sounds like something is broken to me.
I've got a question about the bubble tune ...Can it or will it harm the motor in anyway short term or long term? Basically what I'm asking is it safe or even worth doing even if you are a fan of it? Just a genuine question.
From a company like this yes. You want a company that has a lot of R&D on a platform when it comes to tuning.
You may want to remind that guy that CZcams videos are really important to driving business.
its satire....
Our Mechanic is a truly nice guy. It's all just good fun. Playing around in the shop.
Late Model Racecraft - still totally unprofessional! I love your shop but makes me wonder about how the guy cares about the quality of his work.
Love it!!! I have a 2018 Z06 can it burble like that ZR1 with all the same add ons?
Sure it can . My 06 z06 does it .
Theirs got to be a better way to route that air inlet. A 110 degree bend and a filter in the engine compartment can’t be the best idea.
What a J.O.
Never heard of a burble tune.
I need a tune from you guys.
I need cams in my car. Nothing beats the lump
I will never understand why ppl want their cars popping and sounding like shit on decel. You cant tell me that doesnt get annoying after driving for 20 min.
You can decide when you want it to burble and not. It doesn't do it when you cruise around in drive. The only time it does it is when you put the car in manual and let it decel in 3rd and 4th. So it's totally up to the driver when they want the car to burble. Thankfully it's not an all time thing.
Late Model Racecraft O Ok got ya. I think i remember hearing that with Street speeds car.
Why didn’t u guys take the lingenfelter sticker off the windshield?
So, burple has the potential to grenade your muffler? If so, what mufflers did this car have because it seems to be holding up!
It just feels like it will. We have had other cars that have had burble tunes for a while and they're still solid. The pops just feel like they could tear up a muffler, but in all reality, it should be alright.
Late Model Racecraft Thank you for the reply!
I have the same car how much for this package?

whats the difference between this car and SS717's car??
When is Mike's c8 going to b done. When is the video going to b out on the work ur doing to it. Maybe a little up date. Can't wait to see it on the street.
As soon as m2k motorsports is done with there fabrication I'm sure we will see some updates .
@@joerodriguez7334 ok sweet
Can you guys do that too fords?
Can you cut back the popping?

Can you do these tunes on an LT4?
Thing sounds like out for blood
How much is a package like this.
Dam roll out
Nice. The Burble I have no clue? Just too much
This thing is NASTY
Burble = 22 year old in a Honda Civic
Mike is to blame for the burble. I would definitely not ask for any extra burble.
Were is the twin trubo c8
that's hennessey you're thinking of lol
It's almost done were just about finished with all of the piping. our next step after that is to get it running.
@@savagetuner2404 Wrong.
LMR is working on 2 turbo C8 Corvette's.
Where are you guys based off of? Do you guys happen to do burble tunes remotely?
So would it still be a Lingenfelter now that it has LMR treatment ? Whoever the vette belongs to has dropped some money on it.
Lingenfelter must not know wht their doing
why
This car just has the badging. That's all Lingenfelter did. It was brought to us completely stock.
Isn't that bad for the engine??
I like the burble sometimes great thing you can turn it off huh 🤦♂️
Faster than streetspeeds?
His is probably faster now. It was close to his when it was still on 93. But now he's making around 900 whp with it on MS109
Late Model Racecraft can’t wait for the c8
way too much burble. great build though!
Gaht dam
Too much burble but killer~!!
