  • Tolkien explores the formative years of the orphaned author as he finds friendship, love and artistic inspiration among a group of fellow outcasts at school. This takes him into the outbreak of World War I, which threatens to tear the "fellowship" apart. All of these experiences would inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-Earth novels.

As someone who likes to create stories and worlds in his head, I can tell you this is exactly what its like.

Exactly! You can just get lost in it. It opens up more and more as your imagination takes off and it’s like you’re discovering it as you’re creating it.

Lilly Collins is absolutely stunning. Watching her performance in this and extremely wicked won her over as one of my favourite actresses.

Aww, it cut off just as it stated to get good. As he explains the two trees, one black and one white, intermingle and have a sap, while poisonous separate, together make a very powerful elixir.

Lol I thought it was spelled Selador until recently. I thought that spelling would make the most sense for his fantasy stories. Also I'm from the US so we say cellar door differently than that lol.
