Dude…. I have a beautiful 55mm 1.8 super multi coated but the range finder is loose and spins freely, it’s still useable but I’d like it to work as intended. This looks like I have to do a complete deconstruction just to analyze the issue, and I’m not even sure if I’m skilled enough to analyze the issue let alone take it apart. Want to trade? Can I mail it to you? Or better to cut losses and but another and hope it’s as good as the one I have? Maybe just ignore the range finder issue and love the Takumar I have?

Can I asked what you used with regards to cleaner, oil, lubes etc? I'm doing the exact same with my lens as we speak. Same lens too.
But it didn't show how to clean the lens elements !
It's a way more complicated, to build it back correctly after reassebly the lens tube
