You are not supposed to use beach sand in freshwater aquarium. How many times u wash u can never remove the salt and ph from the sand..
its very dangerous to fish and the aquarium will collapse and all the delicate fish will die.
This is a wrong recommendation to viewers..
many beginners will get affected and loose their fish because of this advice
