Quaresma is on the best all time players of Portugal. He is one of the players of Ronaldo generation, the people say that he was more talent that Cristiano Ronaldo. He plays on Chelsea and Barelona but without success. The best times of his carrer was at FC Porto, the time of his heart. Unfortunely he was a problematic boy outside de field. Quaresma could have been the best player of the world.

That shoot is actually not shoot its a passing or crossing skill called Rabona. It is used when a right footed player plays at left wing and he needs to cross, so inorder to cross with his stronger foot he crosses using the skill or technique called Rabona, but only some players can do that✌
Learning the technique is very hard but for players with a weaker left foot it works
In Portugal we call that Trivela, not Rabona. Is the quaresma shoot forever 🙃

From my experience, the trevela(curving the ball to the right with the outside of your right foot or left with left) and the rabona(behind the leg) are both used in order to still use your dominant foot instead of weak. Ricardo was definitely right footed which is why he would use those moves instead of switching to his left.

Quaresma is known mainly for that "reverse shot", that is called "trivela" (trivela is the portuguese for auger) because the ball spins right like an auger, having a lot of curve on the resulting shot.
Basically a trivela is when you kick the ball with the external part of the foot, and you use the opposite foot that you usually use (if you are on the right of the post, you do a trivela with the right foot, if you are at the left of the post, you do a trivela with left foot)
yeah its a flashy pass but players also use i to curve a cross when its on the side of the pitch were the cant use their weak foot if that makes sense

he still plays but he 37 yo now. playing at primeira liga in portugal. he was europen champion with portugals national team in 2016, and played for several big clubs as barcelona, inter milano and chelsea but with not much success because some injuries and lack of commitment. made some great seasons at porto (portugal), zenit (russia) and besiktas (turkey). and that is it, a show man with great skills loved by fans (at least here in portugal)

Not taking anything away from Quaresma, you really gotta see the influence of Roberto Carlos from Brazil. That dude put such power with accuracy behind a kick that no one in the world can be compared to even today.
For real, Quaresma was around 11 or 12 and used to show up on local garden grounds where we used to play football for fun on the grass and dude used to brake older kids (16 , 17 and older) ankles in such a matter that noone wanted to be on opposite team of him.
