gotta keep in mind this game was released in 2002. 20 years ago. oh if only they had been given the time they needed to perfect the game, the netcode was terrible. but the game play, for it's time is just superb.
😂I heard him... Jeepers ... Ship diagrams.. GIMME!!!! When the bridge is blown up.. who is piloting the ship.. computer eeh... The Cheyenne is a nice ship .... 😆..''They Surrender... ahh I don't have time for prisoners' ''..! That was a great battle.. Well done.. Just wanted to know, if ships has more than 2 warp nacelles, can it go faster since already warp 9.97... just asking..!!
Klingon neghvar vs Breen dreadnought cruiser warship. Option 2:Borg cube vs breen. Opt :3 8472 vs breen. 4: 10 defiant class ships vs 8472. Just a few I wish I could do. Also reman warbird vs Borg. And then breen. And then 10 defiant class ships. You probably done a few of these already but I can't find them.
I have seen your videos with the ambassador class....and loved them totally. But the Ambassador class you use isn't the actual ambassador class from the show...it seems to be a TNG refit. For example, on the primary hull the phaser strips on the Ambassador class are not one full strip like a Galaxy class. They are rather three strips (forward, port, and starboard) indicating a lineage between older designs and newer designs between the age of phaser turrets to phaser arrays.
Ah, i wasn't aware of this. I know the Bc-Remastered mod has a different version of the Ambassador. Not sure if that's original or TNG refit. I'll have to try and find an accurate one.
The Cheyenne was mostly made as a long range tactical patrol vessel. Designed for defending its distant borders. A standard cruise speed of warp 9 and an emergency speed of 9.6. The Ambassador class was mostly a flagship and exploration vessel. Different purposes but for lack of a better term. More ‘tanky’. Two different designs. Two different duties.
Photon torpedoes confuse me. For a start, they have their own propulsion system - as torpedoes do, yet they act like the ship has fired them like a bullet, and move faster than torpedoes? And they glow, giving the impression the ship has fired some form of energy weapon. Very confusing. As they are rockets with antimatter payloads?
This is what I believe is happening based on trying to figure out the technobabble and filling the gaps with my high-school knowledge of physics. While in the launcher the torpedo is enveloped by a cacoon of plasma, and fired using magnetic coils kinda like those Japanese bullet trains. After shooting the thrusters kick in, providing guidance and some additional speed while it coasts on the momentum it got from the launcher. When the torpedo hits the target the plasma cacoon comes into play: if the enemy vessel's energy shield is sufficiently weakened enough the torpedo can punch through and hit the target directly with its antimatter warhead; if not the torpedo simply detonates on the shield, using the explosion to weaken the shield further. This is why I think they usually fire multiple torpedoes in a 'conga line' as each successive torpedo hit increases the chances that the next one will get through, but that's just my interpretations. I hope I made some sense trying to explain how I believe this sci fi weapon works.
I'm gonna guess that the Cheyenne wins. Both ships have a similar amount of fire power, but the Ambassador's is spread out, while the Cheyenne's is more forward.
This was the Kobayashi Maru mod. He sometimes uses BC Remastered mod. If you search for mods, you'll be able to find them to download. They're free. There are ship packs you can download as well. If you get the mods, keep separate installs for the base game, KM, and BC Remastered.
Destroying the bridge probably wouldn't impact the overall combat effectiveness much. Think all federation ships are able to be controlled from either the battle bridge (if applicable) or engineering. Consider also that bridge crew is generally rotated in shifts so even if the captain and current bridge crew were killed by bridge being taken out there would doubtless be enough competent off duty officers to take over
Human will mostly win against computer to get an equal battle it need to be Ai vs Ai. You would have to choose a side so its 2 vs 1 but be a cloaked ship and watch to see who wins 1 vs 1. But I would still like to know if you can beat the little dominion attacker with a roundabout.
Great battle, dude! If the Proxima-class is in your menu; please have a quad nacelle fight against the Cheyenne-class. LOL!
7:28 You're really proving yourself as a great ambassador for the USS Enterprise C. Wonderful maneuver!
Haha. Thank You! I was thinking... Whilst sipping a cup of Earl Gray, What would Jean-Luc do in this situation.
Yes, as far as I know, the Cheyenne class was the replacement to the Constellation class, the class the Stargazer was apart of.
Captain Garrett sharpened her best kitchen knife for that battle. Off with your nacelles!!
We shall call it "The Retro Manoeuvre"
Cheyenne was a 2350s era ship...Ambassador was 2330s (Some sources say 2320s)...this Ambassador was the refitted 2350s/60s version
Awesome like always!
Thanks :-)
2:51. It felt like the two galaxy class attacking a single galor one after another in star trek ds9
Thank you for the Great battle Love that cheyenne class

I am surprised no aft torpedos on the Cheyenne !!
Interesting fact about the Cheyenne class it's saucer is a Galaxy class saucer upside down
We are the Borg. Lower your markers and surrender your highlighters.
Haha 🤣

Ships were built for different purposes from what I've seen on other CZcams channels.
You Lost the First Battle...you FAILED to Protect the the Tractorbeam.
I need to re-do my Tractor Beam Defense course at the academy.
Ambassador torpedo launchers were reloaded by hand by Xindi Arboreals between walks.
cheyenne class
6x Type-X Phaser Arrays
2 forward 2 aft
Notionally a successor to the Constellation-class,
Length
362 meters
ambassador class
Length
526 meters
10x Type-X Phaser Arrays
1 forward
1 aft

I suggest watching this video from resurrected starship. czcams.com/video/4LOPGElgkn8/video.html
They also have one on quantum torpedoes.

I always thought the Cheyenne class was the upgraded to the proxima class
Oh wait no they don’t, great fight
Ship diagrams = engineers' porn. 😀
ooh ship diagrams giveme
Can you do Space Battleship Yamato v. Enterprise? (TOS)
When the AI was in control of the Cheyenne, was it constantly rotating to ensure it could have a continuous phase blast?
I'm gonna guess that the Cheyenne wins. Both ships have a similar amount of fire power, but the Ambassador's is spread out, while the Cheyenne's is more forward.
The Ambassador manoeuvre is to offer them ferrero rocher rather than torpedoes.
Got a craving for those now...
Arm the Ferrera Rocher. Full spread!!
What do you use to play this? I love your videos so I bought bridge commander from COG and it REALLY does not look this good at all 🙈

@@Jetpackninja thanks very much! I’ll get that sorted. Appreciate the reply!
@@bel1984 No worries.
How do you NOT put an aft torpedo launcher on a ship?
Maybe it was a cost cutting measure, lol. It happens with cars all the time. Although as starfleet doesn't use currency maybe it uses less resources.
How do you install and use the Kobayashimaru mod? I just got STBC

some ships do have an auxillary control. and I bet they are mannned two but. effectiveness should drop.

That's strange the Cheyenne class has Phaser Strips on her Nacelles why aren't they being used
A poor tactical officer on the ambassador class. Proabbly a pakled
I'm surprised that taking out the bridge didn't do anything....when it took out the bridge on a warbird, that usually destroys it.....
