  • This is a shocking story of how a free £5 bet led to a full blown addiction to online gambling. How someone who had it all could loose everything, including his job, his family and his home and then find hope and restoration.
Justyn Rees Larcombe had everything. Highly successful fast-track career. Beautiful wife and three sons. Having lost it all through a relentless addiction to online gambling, he is now campaigning for education and a change in laws, and shares his wisdom for those who may be struggling with secret habits, compulsions and additions of all types.

I thought this is madness carried on, won another £800, about 12 months later I’m maybe £4000 down. More importantly I spent all that time.

I have an addiction, it is killing me. I have 22,000 dlls in debt now on my credit cards and have no money in my bank account. I owe money to friends and family and the worst thing is that I won 3,000 dlls this weekend and lost them again. I am desperate, I cant sleep, I am in a bad mood all the time and currently I hate life and no one knows about it and I can’t tell no one. I just hope that I can return to this video one year from now and that my life will be better, debt and betting free. Wish me the best if anyone reads this, I hate myself. I am sick

True brother. I can feel his pain. I probably didn’t lose much like him but I have won a lot and lost a lot too. I notice now that most of the time I won but because we are human being and not a machine. We get off track and emotional get involved and that how I got out of my system and lost. I played baccarat and roulette and especially in baccarat I have won more than $120k usd in 3 days. Not lying but in 30 minutes of getting mad because of emotional s I lost it all back and including my 10k bank roll as well. I have a good system but I know now that it’s almost impossible to do it alone because no one can keep themselves under good control for a long period of time. So now I know that only play small sessions. Making a little bit then leave. That’s the best only of you have bank roll and system and know what you doing. Never walk into the casino and thinking luck alone gonna win. Because if there’s luck there’s a thing call bad luck too but ,most people only think of good luck and not bad luck lol

I know it seems like such a big chance or percentage that you will win instead of lose that next bet but I can tell you. For me it helped to see working a job to earn that money is like a 100% safe bet. You keep winning and suddenly u see the money stacking up. Nothings going anymore. Youre safe again. Please try it Im just 23 years old and very weak in this kind of things buf I did it and feel truly happy again. you should be able to do it too. I believe it.

It's simple: we must be aware about the fact that the house always wins and that there are so many variables that on the long run is just futile and destructive. Now I will go and buy some KFC and some chocolates and I will spend my time with my girlfriend/friends. The first sign of maturity is to know that success comes with extensive work...never by cutting corners. Head up, man!

After a similar story, on deferent specifics, I too climbed out of the hole that I dug and put my family and myself in. Priorities HAD to change. This isnt about having stuff....owning more....making more. The selfishness that I lived makes me sick today. Am thankful that my wife didnt take my family away from me....that was now 7-1/2 years ago. What an amazing family that I have the opportunity to be a part of. I also learned not to be so judgmental of others in difficult situations, even if it was caused by poor and self destructive actions. I can assure you that it can happen to anyone given the right circumstances and frame of mind. Wont bore anyone with the details, but life is not only better now, its better than its ever been. Even so, I wouldnt wish that path on anyone

@@robinacosta1698 … I’m honestly not a professional counselor, so I would hate to give inaccurate advice. Addiction can be extremely complex. I in fact did see a counselor that brought to my attention that there were underlying issues that were coming out in misbehavior and self inflicted harm. I would highly suggest that you reach out to a professional. The money I spent was minimal compared to what I would have spent continuing on the path I was. It’s been almost 10 years now, and I still have to consciously be aware of my mental health and what effect it can have on my actions. In short though, I can say with confidence that stepping away from a certain level of lifestyle was important for me. Keeping things simple removes a level of anxiety that tends to influence my seeking out what I feel at the time is financial success. The less my “need” for financial gain, the less likely I am to make rash decisions that I tend to justify in the moment.

There's a lot of discipline needed in multiplying money (passive income generation) fellas.. regardless of the process.. many problem gamblers end up blaming "the process" but in reality they had always lacked the skills necessary to generate passive income; which is what they were unknowingly trying to do
