Lauren Boebert made some exceptionally stupid arguments in favor of the bill before being destroyed by Rep. Jamie Raskin. The Damage Report's John Iadarola breaks it down.

So I've been here since the age of 2. Came with my Mom from Germany in 1958. I'm now 68, and I am still required to have a green card with a PLR (permanent legal resident) status. I have never been allowed to vote or serve on a jury. But the government certainly has no qualms about accepting my tax dollars. This really made me mad because I am and always have been very political. But in today's environment, I find myself glad. The country that put Trump and the MAGA folks us not somewhere I want to live. I'm holding off on and major purchases right now and it he gets back in the Whitehouse, I will be going back to my homeland. At least they learned their lesson after Hitler damn neat destroyed them.
I was stationed in Bamberg, Germany way back in the 80s. It is a beautiful country and I loved the people of Germany. I miss those shishkabob's that are sold in the streets and bratwurst sandwiches. I am saddened to learn you haven't been able to vote, but I too have this image of finding another place to live if Trump would ever get back in. I just have a stronger urge to stay and fight for our Nation if he would become President again. Blessings.

There's a difference between being counted as living here and being able to vote. Non citizens cannot vote in federal elections as it states in the constitution.
