She has been given way more importance a nd respect than what she deserves. A nation where 99.9 % of people are dark skinned to black have chosen her to be their representative because she got her looks from her British grandma. This is embarrassing. She gave over 16 flop movies but still she kept getting movies. Whenever there are foreign delegates and political gatherings, Ashwaroya was chosen to represent bollywood while Madhuri, Rekha, Kajol, Rani, Kareena etc ( top 5 heroines ) stood in corners.

And even if you look at cultures, people condescend, you're from the South, you're from North, you're from East, West. I think it's so important to revive and show people what they're made of. This movie on first look looks like a cheap rip-off Baahubali.Eventhough that was a rip-off(although well-made) multitude of hollywood movies like troy,benhur and 300 etc.

You already know the ending of PS1 is going to be jaw dropping to get us hooked for the 2nd instalment (not that we already aren’t)!

This movie is an artistic marvel in Indian cinema! Thoroughly enjoyed the detailing - costumes, art, lighting, subtle background score, wonderful performances and the most efficient dialogues. Wow! Brilliance altogether! Can’t wait for PS-2!
Positives:
1.Ratnam seems to have shot two parts, being so light hearted . Credit shall go to Suhasini.
2. Rahman being so vivacious about Ratnam, never seen so excited about a project. Credit to Ratnam and Saira Banu.
3. Aishwarya being so humble and accommodative of these two legends keeping aside her own legendary stature. Credit to the Bachan's family and Abhishek to keep her as beautiful as ever besides her parents .
Agree with 1 and 2. but credit to ARB's late father krishnaraj rai and mother vrinda rai not the bachchans. They came much much later after she was already a legend having broken so many glass ceilings with her ingrained elegance.
