Harvey, your emotional investment in this interview was what enabled Greg to talk about the most intimate, troubling and difficult details of his life, as well as his greatest accomplishments. He is a truly modest individual whose story is so very inspirational. Thank you for once again conducting an amazingly well-researched interview and letting all of us share in this.

Thank you so much!
So much to say but I won’t write a book. Harvey, you were superb as always. The thing I kept thinking as Greg talked is that it is such a shame that so many people have to go through so much agony to get to the point of self acceptance, self awareness, and self love. We are taught by our parents, our families, our communities, our religions, and life in general that we are just not good enough and never will be. Healing those scars and pain is a journey that many do not survive. I am so glad that Greg was willing to share his story in the book and continues to do so. Many people never let their true selves break the surface and it is what is lurking below that is all too often deadly. It takes courage, and, people who are often our angels from unexpected places, vulnerability, and the willingness to accept that the world might just be completely wrong; that we are not just good enough but that we are one-of-a-kind and never will be duplicated. We owe it to ourselves and to the Universe to let ourselves shine so brightly that those who taught us all the negativity are blinded by our perfect expression of who and what we really are.
Thank you for your thoughtful comments Jim. Glad the interview touched your heart.
Because being gay is WAY more than sex. It’s one’s identity
He thanked the bullies, that's real courage.
It totally changed my attitude towards the terrible bullies who made my childhood so intolerable.
Having just gone through an entire box of tissues while watching this interview, I have one thing to say: Thank You
You are very welcome. Greg was one of the very first celebrities to appear on our show, and he’s become a dear friend. I’m so glad this interview touched you so deeply
Haven’t read Greg’s book but I do know those lyrics “lf you believe “ from The Wiz. ❤
The book is absolutely fabulous.
