Most people are voting for MPs based solely on Modi, yet the constitution advocates for voting for MPs based on their manifestos.
It stipulates that the elected MPs should select the appropriate PM candidate for the nation's welfare. If Modi is indeed capable and talented, he should be able to persuade MPs from various parties, including Congress, BJP, AAP, etc., to vote for him as the PM of the country.
The public should not have to spoon-feed the PM by voting for random (just like freebies high talks), unvalidated BJP MPs solely for the sake of Modi. If issues similar to those in Manipur, Delhi, or Lakdak arise in Karnataka tomorrow, who should address these concerns? The responsibility falls on the elected MP, not Modi.

@@juandase5929 This election is to elect PM and Modi is BJPs PM candidate where as congress and its allies is still struggling with internal quarrels for PM candidate , and coming to manifesto of I.N.D.I.A I can see they are highlighting only caste census , freebies and funding minority institutions from Hindu temple money saying democracy in danger …I don’t see any point in their manifesto which helps countries overall growth only I can see vote bank appeasement and dividing society based on caste and religion
