There's nothing wrong with singing a song exactly how it's written. That doesn't make anybody gay... It's Robyn's song and he's just singing it. And I think it's a beautiful cover.
I don't understand why anyone's jumping to conclusions about his sexual orientation based on the lyrics of the song. Even if he had written it he could be singing about a bisexual girl breaking up with her girlfriend to be with him. I'm gay and I've been in love with married men before so this song has that specific meaning for me, but I know it isn't the only one.

So instead of giving someone props for being a good singer, on top of english /possibly/ not even being their first language (not sure on this one, pretty sure he was speaking in a different language in the intro)... you criticize him messing up one line and the fact he didn't change the lyrics to suit what you guys see as fitting? people literally make no sense.

He's Danish, which means he speaks better English than many Americans. English is required as a secondary language in Scandinavia.
@brobokan What are you taking about? He DID change the lyrics so that the song wouldn't be gay. He omitted two sections which would've made it clear that he is having an affair with the listener, who is presumably a man:

No, you don't understand the complete storyline because he left out two sections. Those lines would make clear that he's not just singing to a friend, but that the two are having an affair. And that, Christopher being male, is likely gay:

His facial expressions here don't match the feeling of the song (in my opinion) and actually distract from the quality of the performance.

In a RECORDING, where we can't see him, he can make whatever faces he wants while he sings. But when he PERFORMS for an AUDIENCE, he needs to be aware of the VISUAL aspect of performing. This is true for all performers. You don't want the visual to distract from the audio. If that doesn't make sense to you, then I hope you're not a performer.

Speaker is different than author or singer. I personally don't understand why change a speaker's gender unless it's for personal use of the message e.g. the singer wants to use the song to sing about his or her lover, then ok. Other than that, I see no point.
