Hello, This magical book cake is my favorite yet!! It was really fun to make and the finished product looks awesome plus it was a great hit with the customer!! I hope you enjoy watching.

Really great I would like to make my daughter for the 18th birthday. A question is the magig wand of wood you can not see it in the video. Greetings from germany
Hey :) thanks for the comment, the wand was a wooden skewer I rolled fondant around and just kind of moulded into shape then painted :) sorry for the late reply, good luck making!! X
No problem thanks for the comment :) I know I'm sorry, I didn't paint it I used a screwed up ball of cling film and just dabbed it on until I got the shade I liked

What paint did you use to colour the edges
Hey :) it's called wilton ivory, it's a kind of peach colour, it's a gel food colouring, hope this helps!

I just used a black gel food colouring, didn't add anything to it just painted it free hand :)
What did you paint on the glasses that gave it a shiny finish?
