I love what Kyle Shannahan is doing. He's drafting playmakers that are comfortable carrying the ball. Two 2nd rounders and now a 3rd round WR is a huge investment at the position. I'm very pleased.

If he runs a 4.4 and can do it at 235 pounds, and have as much ability as a receiver as he did a running back this guy will be insane. Not sure he'll be as good as Calvin Johnson but he has a lot of resources around him to develop in a year and be a dangerous dangerous monster

Born January 23, 1996. Played high school football for the Beech Buccaneers (TN). Played college football for the Baylor Bears (and also the Tennessee Volunteers). Drafted #67 overall by the San Francisco 49ers. First game is August 10 vs. the Dallas Cowboys.

And I call it that you are going to be severely disappointed.. the guy is 6ft5 and plays like he is 5ft10... he routinely quits on routes, if their is any challenge for the ball he isnt going to fight for it, you basically have to throw it right at him and as far as contested catches go goodluck with that 🤷🏻♂️🤣

I see the Patriots really looking hard at him in a Patterson role on offense. He can play outside, inside and has running back skills. I think he's more polished as a route runner and receiver than Patterson has ever been. No special teams highlights though.

I didn't like the pick up at first for the 49ers, I thought we could've picked up a CB or S. But watching this guy, he's gonna be a swiss army knife for Shanahan... a hybrid WR/RB/TE(like a taller version of Delanie Walker for us during the Harbaugh days).
Seems like a good pick up for 49ers I really hope he translates well because he is the first big target we’ve had in forever also hope him and Pettis bulks up

Is it me or does Hurd have an extremely good get-off from the line? He looks like he goes zero to full speed instantly.
Imagine what the ceiling is for Hurd under the coaching of Kyle Shanahan and Wes Welker. Amazing potential.
At Tennessee he was taking snaps from Alvin Kamara. He wanted to play WR, he was concerned with his longevity playing RB with his size, been an easy target for defenders. Tennessee told him nah, so he transfered to Baylor. He played very well as a WR, he can do it all. Kyle Shanahan was drooling with this new weapon.
The biggest ? I see is if he can block, specially if he plays some TE formations.
Shanahan is a genius, he wants to have a record breaking offense, and they have weapons EVERYWHERE now!
