Versatility is what makes a pizza topping Great. Pineapple is good, anchovies are good, but their limited uses don't make them Great. Conversely, you can put Bacon, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Barbecue Sauce, and Ranch on almost anything and it will work.
Putting corn on pizza is pretty common here on Brazil, usually when it's a bacon pizza, but it still pretty good by just itself

Classic pesto, though it's a blanket term. You can make so many different kinds of pesto.
And also grated hard cheese for saltines (usually pecorino romano or parmigiano reggiano)
I prefer the pesto with sun dried tomatoes as its base.
So here's where I stand in terms of Spinach on a pizza... while it does add a very mild if at all flavor to a pizza they do add one thing to that all the meats don't add. That is color. Like you already have red from the sauce the yellow/white from the cheese the bits of red from pepperoni brown from the bacon. So when you add that touch green spinach it just makes the pizza pop! It gives it eye appeal. When I don't want just plain cheese or pepperoni.
My pizza is: Pepperoni, Bacon, Spinach and sometimes depending on my mood ill add Bell Peppers & onion. So it's a very lively "deluxe or supreme" if you will
A lot of toppings are more on how they are paired, and which sauce is used. Can really make any toppings look like a star if used right.
Double cheese, pepperoni, bacon, banana peppers, and pineapple. It was called the tropical heat wave and was my first introduction into pineapple on pizza. Ate 3 slices that day and changed my mind pretty fast

Pineapple Jalapeno and Sausage Pizza is god-tier. Dying on that hill. You're balancing out salty savoriness with spicy and sweetness. Amazing.

Banana peppers are super underrated. Though I will say they can’t solo a pie. You need to pair it with pepperoni or Italian sausage, which you could say is a crutch, but I think it’s the best veggie you got there that combos with the meats.

Try pairing it with ham or bacon and then honey and pineapple, and add some garnish

I like anchovies too, the first time I had them they were really salty, so trying them with pineapple actually helped balance that out. Controversial? Sure. But delicious. I will die on this hill.
I like to go a bit crazy with my pizzas. So far my favorite topping mix is grilled chicken, bacon, and mushrooms with ranch and sriracha

I love putting extra anchovy paste or fish sauce in my kimchi vermicelli and other Asian-inspired dishes. Never had it on pizza but I'd be willing to try.

Black olives in my opinion are an underrated pizza. I never have tried pineapple on a pizza but I've always wanted to. Now, for the broccoli, I've always wanted to try that on a white pizza, but instead of alfredo sauce, I think it would need some olive oil and a Béchamel sauce. And maybe a sourdough crust.
Pineapple goes well with black olives imo, the salty/bitter olives balance well with the sweeter bright pineapple.

Honestly I don’t really think black olives go well with pizza but I do like them just by themselves so sometimes I’ll get my pizza with black olives and pick ‘em off and eat them or I’ll just get a can of black olives and eat them something about that metallicy flavor black olives have tingles me 8 inches deep just right
Onions, green peppers, and olives are all A or S tier for me. I rarely order a pizza without onions. It's the one vegetable that my wife also likes on a pizza.

Ever since I tried the Alfredo sauce instead of the tomato sauce on my pizza and have never looked back. It is something about how it adds to the cheese on the pizza and makes it taste even extra extra Melty. It is fantastic.
Feta cheese mozz no sauce and spinach is one of my favorite slices (I hated spicy food when I was younger but the idea of dipping buffalo sauce on a slice sounds nice)
Green olives and pepperoni go together like peanut butter and jelly
The thing about sausage pizza is that's it's hard to place it on the list since a lot of pizza places have bad sausage pizza it's only a good topping from certain places
I was just about to comment something like this. I use to always choose sausage pizza over pepperoni every time...Until certain chains started cheating out by using very inappropriate & very obvious *sage* sausage 😝

I personally like it but I get why others don't dig it. Pre-frying it and putting it on pizza also gives an eggplant parmesan sort of vibe to a pie too.
Also prosciutto on pizza is awesome and I highly recommend it! Way better than regular ham.

The BEST way to have pineapple on a pizza is on a bbq chicken pizza with pineapple, jalapeño and banana pepper. The pineapple absolutely compliments everything perfectly in this context.

Pesto is good if done right that good Italian pesto adds a savory taste almost like a mix of bacon and a very mild pepper which is why me personally I pair it with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese

The majority of people who say Pineapple does not go on pizza have never even tried it, And I was that way for a long time until I really did try it, I loved it and it is currently one of my go to favorite toppings.

Just get my King Pizza. Double pepperoni, double bacon and extra sauce is a must at dominos on w mcnichols in Detroit Michigan near 48235. Not the one on Rutherford but further east. Rutherford don’t do it as good as I did when I work there. I made it the best. 😊❤🎉

absolutely missed with the pineapple, I know it's preference but nah man. I consider it sacrilege personally, and I'll be honest, someone could bake me a fresh pie and if it had pineapple on it, I'd politely throw it away.
yellow peppers on pizza is actually really good. you're right it does give it a bit of sweetness to it but it's deff subtle. subtle but enjoyable. deff recommend having them cooked/grilled first to bring more flavor to it tho. but i rate it like a 4.75/5. would def recommend to anyone!

😂 One time my family went to a semi nice italian sit down restaurant, and my great grandma was order. They told her how many toppings she could choose from and her first request was cheese. ham and bacon on pizza is a good combo the salty with the crispy meat ontop adds just the right amount of flavor
Cottage Inn has a really good broccoli, chicken and Feta pizza. Don't worry, the Feta is sprinkled on as a topping and it still has your traditional cheese. If you have one in your area in Ohio, I definitely suggest giving it a shot. We ordered one for my wife and I at our reception and it was the first one to disappear. We did not expect it to be so popular. :P
