To get rid of the ticks. Divide the compound in 3 sections. After spraying them, let them stay in the section for 2 weeks, then move them again to a new section, keep rotating for a month, and ticks will die off.
The cows are usually the super spreaders of ticks. Build them a stay, they seem to be getting ticks from outside the compound
Village boys can do remove all sticks by just playing 🐞🐞.

This is good advice - I hope Marwa reads this. I suggest getting a vet to reccomend and implement tick treatment and have them sprayed - true paddocks should be created too

Rocios ide is great. Actual you need a interior decorator. That long table is for a meeting or party setting. Your home we is to elegant for that table and chairs.
Rain season Will always come with lots of ticks, there is lots of them in the grass, and when horses lye down that's when they catch them

On the pool, if you build it under the tree green algae will form very quickly off the falling leaves. It will be a pain to keep clean. I know as I have dealt with it. Just FYI. Maybe build it around the tree, verses under. Also please give up the idea of a helipad on the house. It is extremely dangerous, and the house was not designed to carry the weight. If you must have one, do it away from the house in a corner. Take the ego out of this idea my brother. Blessings.
A beautiful thing to own and have horses on your villa compound. Suggest to have a knowledgeable person who knows about caring for horses employed.Horses are like children,they need a lot of care to thrive when domesticated. A dedicated vet service is a necessity to keep monitoring their health.A healthy,disease free horse is a valuable asset,but sickly is an expense headache.
The baby tick are in the grass because of the cows 8n the area you may have to consider spraying the grass with a recommended solution and may have to isolate the horses from the treated area also advice or help the cow owners in your area to treat their cows for tics otherwise you are going to have issues with ticks all the time
From what Ive seen over the last year Marwa, you need to finish your house before any other projects. This includes all detailing and snagging work then other things can be build like the swimming pool and sound studio. 👍🏾☮

Marwa you have to build a stable for each of the horses and make sure you put small wire mesh to prevent ticks and flies from bothering the horses. You need to assign one or more person to take care of the horses round the clock. With regard to grazing you may need to plant more grass or move the horses to a fertile ground where they can eat enough, as i am writing this comment the horses are not well fed and need more food. Do not forget these are big animal with big appetite.
Just constructive advice, you need to also paint your walls with a semi gloss paint, such a big house with flat paint that's why the walls are dirty.

Also, there seems to be no screens on the windows or sliding glass doors anywhere..seems odd with such a high rate of malaria during the rainy season (mosquitoes being the agent) to not have screens at all windows and doorways. Something to consider!
Marwa please put a glass rail on the steps to protect kids from falling on either sides, an adult can manage without a rail but kids are frisky.

The bathing area has to be enclosed. Otherwise, the entire bathroom gets wet, and it can be dangerous, too.
Another mistake is that the toilet should be in front and bathing area at the back. This is the other way around.
You would think that after travelling the world, Marwa would have had a clear idea of the layout of a proper bathroom. He has been to upscale homes in the US and seen the layout and set up of a comfortable, functional efficient bathroom, so why would he have bathrooms looking like that in his house - no shower cubicles or bathtub etc. The size of his house is impressive, but nothing else. The quality and workmanship of the home is shoddy - doors, frames etc. just shoddy.

I was thinking the same. The shower must be redone because water is not supposed to be on the floor. Bathrooms must have a vanity, mirror.... good hygiene

In Jamaica, we use roofing membrane or betumin, applied with Lpg gas torches to mekt and lay same, sticking onto the raw concrete roof...The roof will never leak again for many years !...Furniture will stop the echoing sounds in the house, OK?

Yes, I love Ro's idea for an upstairs Lounge Area. If the main kitchen is downstairs, then have the dining room / eating areas downstairs closest to the kitchen where food can easily be served from.

If you planning to travel marwa you need to build a stable before then and plant a lot of nappier grass for them. You don't want to come back and find your horse died from hunger and poor care.

Hey marwa you need to create a barn for them because by time of bad weather horses doesn’t like that they get agitated they can create chaos in the yard. Again create a barn for them so when the weather get bad you put them inside and tide up.
Place fits lots of ideas....That window view is best with a lounge with a very lounge table...one would spend hours and hours in that lounge....
They inger themselves trying to get the flies and ticks off . Please by the birds they're small but they're very helpful to especially large animals like horses , zebra , giraffe ,ect.....

Use tick shampoo until they are gone you may also need to treat the cows as well.The tick routine should be done maybe every 2-3 months as maintence.And use a separate Brush for each horse.Because you don't want to spread the ticks further.Daily clean the poop will help with less flies

Marwa, Those ticks are sucking every drop of blood from those horses. They need to be removed. We emplore you to consult a vet for advice on how to take care of those horses. You could also greet the horses with a treat each morning. They like carrots and apples. Grass or hay is their main diet, but they need a treat from time to time..
You could have recreational, refreshment and barbeque areas on the balcony with gazebos and nice chairs

Main Entrance: 2 potted palm trees ,one on each side.
Etc etc etc.Do it to your will.
Kindly fix the downstairs kitchen with a fridge a stove and a washing machine.So if anyone staying wont have to come into your kitchenette invthe privacy of your bedroom or little apartment.

Marwa the shower head you showed with water running out!! You need a water source to rinse the horses!! Or a water hose out side, the horses were not properly rinsed off. That’s why the horse skin looks worse!! Some horses are allergic to some shampoos!! Please animal can’t talk, they can only show their discomfort!! 😢

If you love those horses like you say you do, please get a vet to look at them asap . How can you watch them everyday and do nothing . They are not cheap to keep. Before buying them you should have thought of building stables for them, what was the rush of getting them and now living them in a poor state to roam around aimlessly. My heart really goes out to you marwa I think the people you hired to build your house the staff around you does not have your best interest at heart you paid people to build your house that has not done a good job and they are not being made a accountable for it. You have paid electricians that has put a lot of unnecessary holes in your house and it’s not made accountable whoever put the toilet paper cardboard in the toilet should be fired that sabotage, and the fact you have to tell grown people to clean their room and bathroom is ridiculous. The horses can be rid of flies and ticks through spraying! Kindly get a knapsack and chemicals for the horses. Picking the ticks by hand is not very effective
For such a modern place your engineer failed you terribly. With that design you should have a bathtub with the shower and toilet. That open shower and toilet looks awful. You all should get some designer magazines and see inside design of houses.
It will be dangerous to have a swimming pool with young children and ,your family sitting room downstairs just before the swimming pool. Think of your liitle children to come and the danger of drowning , the swimming pool will either have to be covered all the time when not in use or better still a perimeter put around the swimming pool a swimming pool should only be put up once one teaches their children to swim and they can swim well. This is a point of CAUTION. Davido a nigerian singer lost his 3 year old son to drowning at his home because the child couldnt swim and the swimming pool was not protected with a covering on top or all around from yoiung little children.
A good studio set up will run you about 10 thousand plus dollars, but when you master what you’re doing, you can get that money back in a very short time.

You need face basins in the bathrooms
Sinks, mirrors and cabinets, and the shower area separated from the toilet with good drainage for the water to go down. Ro was right...very strange that that wasn't thought out properly when it was first constructed.

I think that Marwa and his wife (yes I know that they may not be married yet but they will be) should make a list of everything they need to do in the house, then they can decide what should be done first, second, etc in order of importance, and they can also remember what needs to be done.
